As his life progressed basketball seem to be the right direction to go in due to his height and athletic abilities. When you have a passion for something it overpowers everything! By the age of 14 there was nothing but poetry and rhymes written on all of his school notebooks. First recorded at age 15 and got recognition for being unique when everyone sounded the same. Recording was the glue that stuck him to music forever! yUNG wants to give the world music they can relate to, dance to, feel, and of course smoke to! Sadly on Sunday 17th September 2023 our beloved Jamie took his own life. He was the most amazing Father, son, brother, uncle and friend and was loved by everyone who ever had to privilege of meeting him. We are all completely heartbroken and words cannot describe the grief and devastation that we're all feeling. We hope that Jamie has found the peace that he was looking for and we’re finding peace in knowing he is no longer suffering.
