A quick example of my reBOOOM/reconstruction efforts. 

Somebody posted this King Tubby version to Leroy Smart - Jah Is My Light.
Instantly liked it, but wasn’t happy with the gate, removing a lot of the instruments’ original sustain & reverb (obviously a result of heavy noise removal efforts). 

So, to come closer again to the original sonic experience, i created a timed spring reverb that is refilling those little gaps caused by the gate. This, plus some EQ-ing should bring back the impact as King Tubby had intended it.
