Back with this months instalment of my new show - Creekside Listening Club. Live every second Saturday of the month 8pm - 10pm on  aaja radio.

This month we delve into the back catalogue of the incredible Hot Casa Records. Formed in Paris in 2003 by Julien Lebrun. The label strives to produce forgotten artists and rare vinyl gems from the past by licensing directly to the musicians or the labels. As well as recording and developing upcoming new talents. You can expect global sounds, a whole heap of afro-funk, afrobeat, cumbia, and more.

Creekside Listening Club 002 - Hot Casa Records - 14/06/2025

LIMA is back with a bang with his newest radio show - Creekside Listening Club. Every second Saturday of the month, 8pm - 10pm on aaja radio.

CLC will explore music from all around the world and interview guests from across the musical spectrum, delving into their musical lives, loves, hates and dreams.

This first show is a homage to all my musical loves. Starting slow with some beautiful folk sounds from across England, before slowly increasing the pace, traversing disco and funk from around the world, exploring some beautiful psychedelia, before ending with some dancefloor thumpers.

Creekside Listening Club 001 - New Beginnings - 10/05/2025

Back again with Creekside Listening Club. Live every second Saturday of the month 8pm - 10pm on aaja radio.

This month is a folk special, packed full of beautiful folk songs, past and present, from around the British Isles and beyond.

I pre-recorded this as I was on holiday, so there is minimal chat. You can expect lots of harmonies, fiddles,  bodhráns and jigs. Sit back and enjoy a dreamy soundscape whilst you soak in the sunshine.

This months edition of Creekside Listening Club is a special one. I was joined by the incredible RHSYC for a live interview and a guest mix.

RHYSC is a brilliant DJ hailing from southeast London. In our chat we traverse a range of music from 80s funk, to Balearic dub, house and garage. As well as diving into RHYSC's musical memories, inspirations and loves.

Creekside Listening Club 004 -  w/ Rhysc - 09/08/2025

Exploring the wonderful world of the incredible (and my favourite) record label Habibi Funk, and visiting many countries in North Africa and the Middle East.

This show is packed full of disco, funk, soul and reggae from the Arab world. Including some other tracks from around the globe to get your feet tapping.

Creekside Listening Club 006 - Habibi Funk and beyond - 11/10/2025

Back again on aaja Radio with this months edition of CLC.

I start things off nice and slow, traversing some of my favourite folk to begin with. However on the hour mark I dive into my homage to the MIGHTY Field Maneuvers festival.

Field Maneuvers is a top class festival modelling itself on being a no frills rave. Currently situated at a secret location in Norfolk. It has excellent DJs, playing on some of the best festival sound systems I've experienced in the UK, with a vibe and crowd that is unbeatable.

If you don't know it already then check it out.

This one is for those that like it slow and fast.
