With an eclectic variety of projects to date, R7 has made quite a recognizable impact in electronic music. There are few genres the songwriting/vocalist duo have yet to attack with their production and remix work, sometimes pulling in outside vocalists to keep the sound fresh and experimenting with new ideas for cross genre platforms. An eccentric blend of elements combine in their original works for an unmistakable style. Their preference for big chords and melodic elements drive their belief in the power of songwriting to convey emotion as opposed to simply creating a beat.

Having established a worldwide following with releases in the US, Sweden, U.K. and Brazil, R7 are based in Austin, TX, USA. “Make Me Feel” was featured on the soundtrack for “MAY in the SUMMER,” the premier film at Sundance Film Festival 2013.  With International support from top names in electronic music, the duo continue to surprise listeners with their original ideas and forward thinking sound.

No stranger to the deeper forms & shapes of sound, dreamAwaken has been expressing himself through music for the past 20 years. The Brazilian born has been living half of his life in Europe, moving to London in 2002 to study Sound Engineering & Music Production and 10 years after, relocating to Sweden, where hes now been living for another 12 years.

Not one to be confined to a single sound, dreamAwaken plays with different genres and methods of production while composing music that aims to bend the mind and alter the perception of reality. Communications between the digital and the analog world intrigue and propel the visions forward, alive and imperfect as we are. Since the conception of this music project, dreamAwaken has enjoyed playing in clubs and festivals all over Europe and his homeland Brazil, while being featured on labels such as Seven Villas, Lucidflow, Traum, Wayu, Open Records, Iboga Records and more. The music in each release may differ, but a trippy signature dream-like quality is always present and makes the connection. 

Marcelo has now been living with his family in Sweden since 2012. Extending beyond his project dreamAwaken, Marcelo's hunger for honing his craft brought him to extend his audio studies and in the end of 2017 Marcelo completed a 3 years program in Sound Design & Music Production at the famous Linneu University in Sweden. During his studies, Marcelo was welcomed as an engineer trainee at the mighty Pama Studios, known for their extensive resume producing Billboard hits for the last 20 years and being one of the most cutting edge recording studios in Sweden. 

Fresh-off his studies Marcelo got invited to work at Skogen Studio, a fully equipped recording studio located in the Swedish country side, run by professional drummer and music producer, Martin Öhman alongside professional touring drummer, sound engineer and music producer Ottilia Säll. But in 2019 Marcelo decided to part ways with Skogen Studio and open his own Analog Mastering & Mixing business, 'Dub On Audio', to focus on what he is most passionate about and well-versed. Currently, his days are a mix of creating music for his projects and mastering/mixing music for some of the best artists in the dance scene as well as upcoming talents.
