With a glimmer of optimism on the horizon, we’re delighted to announce our second V/A compilation Psycho/Soma - the first of many exciting releases for 2021.

12 tracks to move body & mind, spanning a full spectrum of UK club music - from introspective, tripped-out rollers to intense percussive workouts and frantic 160(ish) action.

To accompany the release, we’re creating our first ever run of limited edition, long-sleeve, 100% organic cotton, peta-approved t-shirts, designed by UK-based independent graphic artist Alex Vissaridis.

In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, we released our first compilation ‘Remote Access’, which has so far raised over £1000 for the Trussell Trust. We’d like to continue to use these V/As to support causes we’re passionate about, so a portion of the label’s profits for this release will be split between three prominent mental health charities who we feel are doing important work in the UK - Mind, YoungMinds & Black Minds Matter.

Its official: spring has sprung, bringing with it a new offering from Allergy Season, “Split Wig”— 4 brain-rattling, breakbeat-laden tracks by OSSX.

OSSX is the pairing of New Jersey-based producers Lektor Scopes & EQUISS. Already known for a slew of self-released edits, the duo take things to head-clearing heights with their debut EP of original tracks. Experience de- and re-constructing tracks for dance floor efficiency is on display across these ecstatic, bottom-heavy cuts. Essential gear from two club-wise voices.

The rush-inducing synth dose that kicks off 'Versatile' shows Aasthma at their most upful, and that's even before the chant-bolstered beatdown comes swaggering in on a broken flex with phasers set to jit. It's a direct, uptempo workout built around those core elements, but they equally know how to edge their secret sauce into even the most loop-rooted arrangement. Their own label, built with no creative boundaries, Radau is a playground where the Berlin quartet remove all limits and expectations and dig deep into the mindset and experimentalism that united them in the first place. 'Frequent Tendencies' sets the scene perfectly. A loosely hewn sliver of emotion constructed just a smidgeon off grid, there's a natural momentum as we're thrust deep inside a vociferous synth hook that rises unapologetically, gradually taking us to a surprise pivot. From here the articulation switches, a whole layer of weight and emphasis on the riff opens up and your crowd won't just elevate, they'll levitate. With plenty more music due on both Radau and beyond, it seems GHEIST's impeccable acceleration over the last two years will continue for a long time to come.
