OMia is one of the freshest DJ/producers emerging in the hot Hawaiian underground scene. Formerly producing and dj'ing together with veteran DJ/producer and Asylum Afterhours resident, Russell Trent, in the Pnky & Brain project, OMia is rapidly getting a reputation for his uptempo tracks and keeping everyone packed and moving on the dance floor.

OMia got his start behind the decks playing trap in Honolulu at the 5Oceans Bar and from there earned his stripes evolving into a solid tech house sound with a hip hop and booty tech slant in clubs mostly in Hawaii. He's packed and held the dance floor at SafeHouse, Republik, Eleven44, Electron at Hawaiian Brian's, The Nextdoor, and more recently at Asylum Afterhours (Dj Mag Top 100 Club in the World from 2008-2014) and Purple 33 in LA, WebHouse in SA, FocusOC in OC.

OMia has been blessed to open for the some of the greats in tech house like Claude VonStroke and J Phlip, Matt Anthony, BOT, GolfClap, ADMN, Christian Martin, TJR, Dozeguise, Milk & Cookies, and Dj Dan, Soundsex, Filo & Peri, Titonton, Duvante, Doug English, WoodHolly, DJ Dan, DJ Baumer, Dj BL3ND and Concrete.
