Classic Hits In A Reggae Groove presents the latest release from their upcoming album, a new imagining of Tanita Tikaram’s iconic track ‘Twist In My Sobriety’. Kingston Sound System have taken a re-recorded vocal from Tikaram and created a soulful reggae version of the classic.

A collection of Jamaica’s finest musicians, Kingston Sound System have taken the synth-driven original, and given it a new sun-soaked interpretation. The synths are replaced by horns and keys combining, with Tikaram’s breathy vocals perfectly complimenting the laid-back reggae instrumentation. A modern brooding vocal take from Tikaram lends new life to the recording, working hand in hand with a slower reggae tempo to the original.
