Gravitas Recordings is proud to present Virtus In Sonus for its sixth installation.  This series is back to fulfill its founding mission: unite emerging and establish Gravitas artists in a diverse, cohesive release.  This compilation series has had a legendary tale, featuring huge artists over the years including CloZee, Of The Trees, Lil Fish, Perkulat0r, Dorfex Bros, Mr. Bill, Esseks, Duffrey and so many more.  Every version builds a beautiful journey through electronic music, weaving between genres and styles to create something special.  Virtus is an Ancient Roman virtue that represents excellence; Sonus is Latin for noise and is the root word for sound.  Through our philosophy that vanity metrics are irrelevant to explore intelligent, excellent electronic music, Virtus in Sonus VI strives to express integrity and meaning. True to its name, listeners will be exposed to a diverse compilation of 15 tracks that explores everything between thoughtful, emotional, and energetic electronic music. This year's compilation brings together some of our favorite Gravitas artists at the moment, along with some fresh faces that we are thrilled to showcase to the world.

This is my re-imagining of one of my favorite tracks by the man himself—Trenched.

In the 20+ times I’ve seen Tipper live, I’ve never heard a VIP or any alternate iterations of Trenched, and I’ve been chasing that moment for as long as I can remember. That unique, perpetual melody has haunted my daydreams for years, and I’ve always known I could take it somewhere new as my own project.

Tipper is, without question, my biggest inspiration, and I can only hope this track finds its way to him someday. It was an absolute blast tapping into this chord progression and melody, and I loved every second of the process.

Adam Brubaker, known artistically as DeemZoo, is a classically trained musician and electronic producer with over twenty years of musical experience, including more than a decade specializing in music production and audio engineering. Rooted primarily in psychedelic bass, his sound confidently expands into downtempo and freeform bass territories.

Drawing inspiration from the primal and natural world, DeemZoo’s music merges organic textures with innovative digital techniques, creating immersive soundscapes marked by intricate layering and dynamic shifts. His compositions resonate with a raw, untamed energy, capturing both the beauty and unpredictability of nature.

DeemZoo has made notable appearances at major festivals including Tipper and Friends, Infrasound, Sound Haven, Ohm On The Range, Beyond Existence, Fam Fest, and Autumn Revival. His performances are celebrated for their creativity and dynamic presence, solidifying his standing as a distinctive voice in the electronic music community.

His classical training serves as the foundation from which he continues to push creative boundaries, challenging listeners to explore uncharted auditory landscapes and embrace the untapped edges of their imagination.
