Here is the first little snippet of the forthcoming RMX of the DDCclassic "Sister". Dennis le Gree re-sang the vocals and everything else is completely re-done as well. Still pretty curious how the final result gonna sound.... :)

SISTER RMX Snippet

One of the biggest albums to come out of the west coast bass music scene in 2013 was undoubtedly David Starfire's Ascend, which blended the multi-faceted producer's penchant for Eastern melodies, tribal beats, bhangra, reggae, dub, and glitch. Packed with a murderer's row of talented musicians, the follow-up package of Ascend Remixes is equally bursting with talent.

Today's premieres come from two of the fastest growing luminaries in the transformational scene. Govinda pumps up the bounce quotient with his take on "Indian Summer," injecting the tune with playful whomps and a sturdy kick.

Australian sensation Kalya Scintilla takes a transcendent approach to "Electrify Me," decorating the delicate soundscape with earthy textures that surround and penetrate. The light, airy tune takes on accoutrements like a sacred audio altar. The result is a powerful perfume that awakens the senses.

Remixes from GAUDI, Whitebear, and contest winner GoldyLoxX reinvigorate these songs with new life and allow fans to get a brand new look at their favorite tracks. You can snag these two downloads for free, but make sure to get the entire remix album on April 1st from Six Degrees Records.

Sunday Brunch

This is the second half of a recording of my set on the chill stage at Desert Escape in October 2017. The first half is called "Ebb", so this one I called "Flow". There was a natural break in the aesthetic of the music which caused me to want to release them as separate mixes. This mix is a bit more urban and established, with some classic tunes, while the other is grounded in newer styles of music.

October 2018, Moontribe Full Moon Gathering. Since I started playing at Moontribe in 2006, I haven't yet missed a set I committed to playing. For this gathering, I happened to be completely ill with a chest/head cold...apart from my set, I spent the majority of my time out in the desert huddled in my tent with a box of tissue and a kit full of cold meds. 

Standing up for close to 2 hours straight for my set, I just about fainted after I played my last track. But I made it! In honor of that moment, I am calling this one "Echinacea". Some gentle bass music, psychill, and other eclectic tunes that are pleasing to my ear and my brain.
