The war would come soon. Reinhart knew it intuitively. The air was full of tension, the elan. He left the SRB rooms and hurried down the corridor to his own elaborately guarded office in the Security wing. It wouldn’t be long. He could practically feel the hot breath of destiny on his neck—for him a pleasant feeling. His thin lips set in a humorless smile, showing an even line of white teeth against his tanned skin. It made him feel good, all right. He’d been working at it a long time. First contact, a hundred years earlier, had ignited instant conflict between Proxima Centauran outposts and exploring Terran raiders. Flash fights, sudden eruptions of fire and energy beams. And then the long, dreary years of inaction between enemies where contact required years of travel, even at nearly the speed of light. The two systems were evenly matched. Screen against screen. Warship against power station. The Centauran Empire surrounded Terra, an iron ring that couldn’t be broken, rusty and corroded as it was. Radical new weapons had to be conceived, if Terra was to break out. Through the windows of his office, Reinhart could see endless buildings and streets, Terrans hurrying back and forth.

Juicebox Music's 83rd release welcomes Redspace back to the imprint with a special collaboration with Shell Robinson on a single titled "Reflections". Redspace made his debut on our imprint through his contribution to our 2nd edition of the 'Fables' compilation with his single "Communication". The Russian artist's extensive discography showcases his undeniable strength in music production, having been featured on labels such as Miss Monique's 'Area Verde', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and MoodFreak & Mike Koglin's 'YOMO', to name a few. Apart from his solo works, he's had phenomenal results through collaborations with artists across the world. He now teams up with Shell Robinson, a veteran progressive artist based in San Jose, California (USA). A classically trained pianist who found her way into house music, her journey began in 2000, drawing inspiration from industry legends. Amidst hardships, Shell Robinson always found solace in the music and continued to evolve her style, embracing the progressive sound through the years. Now entering the production space, her first two collaborative releases with Redspace landed up on Gav Easby's 'inU' and Paul Thomas' 'UV Noir', respectively, with a solo EP slated to be released in the near future. Together, Redspace & Shell Robinson's latest offering "Reflections" represents a beautifully composed yet club-effective amalgamation of their styles.

First up to remix "Reflections" is Juan Ibañez. The La Rioja (Argentina) born artist sculpted his sound through the years into truly expressing the fundamentals of his ideology - emotion through progression via captivating melodies, euphoric harmonies and vibrant rhythms. In just under 5 years of being active in the scene, Juan Ibañez's productions have been consistently championed by the industry tastemakers and earned releases on renowned labels like Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' & Mango's 'Mango Alley'. Now making his Juicebox Music debut with this special remix of Redspace & Shell Robinson's "Reflections", Juan Ibañez's signature style shines bright by taking key elements from the original and elevating it to a euphoric interpretation.
