The release is completed by three remixes from a diverse group of artists. Edu Russo brings a smooth and atmospheric interpretation, Dion Paola AU adds a dynamic rework with driving energy, while Hans Gerd & Cipriani join forces for a collaborative version that blends groove with emotional depth.

Providing a mix for DHA this week is Cubicolor, the act known for their collaborative efforts with London electronic power label Anjunadeep and curation of gentle, deep, bass-heavy atmospheric jungle vibes.

Making his breakthrough in 2014 with his 'Next Planet EP', Cubicolor has gone on to be supported by artists such as Pete Tong, B.Traits, Kolsch, Joris Voorn, Lee Burridge, Adriatique and George Fitzgerald.  Their 4th EP for Anjunadeep 'Down The Wall', was recently followed by a remix of the amazing 'X Machina' record from Howling for Monkeytown/Counter Records. Ahead of their debut album in 2016, Cubicolor arrive on Edu Imbernon's breakthrough label Fayer, with their single "Falling" and ‘Mirror Play’ releasing on Anjunadeep May 6th.

An epic sunrise and then a mesmerizing beautiful morning. No sand storms this time. Absolutely quiet and peaceful Playa. Feelings of of happiness, the fulfillment of the moment, and childish enlightenment were taking us over, and even of something more, something that is hard to describe, because it is rather similar to magic, that is flowing in the air over that giant heart on the top of bus.

We'd like to spread our love and gratefulness to every one who was still with us at midday, while the sun was in its zenith. We literally got burnt under its rays. It must have been the hottest day of that week. But could it stop us? No way. That 3,5 hours were like one moment.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Robot Heart team. You've been producing love for 10 years and granting happiness in Black Rock City. We could feel it from outside, and now we are honored to be part of it. We really appreciate it.

I'm happy to share the audio recording pulled from my live video stream at the Mixmag Lab, NYC (my new home!) My track selections for this one were intended toe the line somewhere between a club gig and a headphones listening mix since there were 100 people on the dance floor but 1000's of people listening at home. These Mixmag Labs tend to reach a wide audience of dance music enthusiasts around the world, so I also made a point to try and showcase a little range of what I'm playing these days. I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.

 I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening.
