As you may have guessed by our extensive coverage of all things Jeudi, we're quite the fans of Doctor Dru's imprint here at Data Transmission, with the outlet quickly becoming one of favourite labels in recent times. For the Hamburg outpost's latest trick, they welcome back Monte, who – you might well recall – impressed upon on the label with a number of releases that arrived to to great fanfare last year and thanks to the glorious sounds of the 'Radical' EP, we’re delighted to announce that the man behind the music has lost none of his nous in the intervening time.

The action gets underway thanks to title track and our choice for premiere, ‘Radical’, a rollicking rollercoaster of a track aimed squarely at peak time dance floors which motors along to give clubbers something to really sink their teeth into. Slickly driven synth lines underpin a sparse yet menacing vocal line full of promise, with the track heaving along as it flexes its production prowess for a cut sure to be finding its way into the sets of house music's more discerning selectors upon release. Backed by a remix from Man Power and frenetic B-side 'Simpler', which jam packed with off kilter energy, is similarly sure to pick up plenty of attention during the small hours in the coming months and add a spine-tingling sense of drama to any set it pervades.

Tissu finally makes the leap from Mörk to the LT main label with another delirious EP of swampy and woozy late night house tales.

Drawing off the sound of his earlier work, the Space Loop EP mashes together the more ambiguously low pass-filtered style of ambient house with the thumping and racheting sounds of space station maneuvering, interstellar mechanics and cloud-skimming high-altitude plane excursions.

Locked in a rotating motion all of it's own, Space Loop builds layers of space dust, Earth-beamed transmissions and NASA ramblings alongside distorted rhythmic hat work and throbbing kick 'n' bass.

RV Jam takes the same formula but applies a shedload of heaving swing into the mix plus a delay-drenched crystalline-cave synth pattern that echoes into the night throughout the Southern Icelandic region under the Northern Lights.

Lastly, Filter Dub sees two outings for the release. The Tissu-leaning Original Mix buzzes with rippling acid lines and more dub-delayed pads and skittering percussion on a smooth mix-down. Whilst the LT-preferred Hard Mix ramps up the percussive medley for a more intense and raw assault of drums and textures.

Hot on the heels of the monster release of “Mutter” on Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Konstantin Sibold has delivered an acid remix for the Danish experimental pop band WhoMadeWho.

The original song, an infectious 3-minute pop ballad has been mutated and stretched out into a pulsating acid track, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Tomas Høffding’s vocals sit proudly over a thumping kick drum and result in 7 minutes of potent, almost ominous club music that sits resolutely at the low end of the pH scale.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. The second track is ‘Orbital’ from Moonwalk, a Neapolitan duo who have previously released on Still Vor Talent, Get Physical, Knee Deep In Sound and more. A thudding bassline underpins waves of synth arpeggios, before an atmospheric breakdown provides the focal point of the track.
