After recording this song over 3-4 times & 7 or 8 different mixes I can finally deliver this single to you guys. This song means alot to me, being that at the time I had never met Kaytranada, but loved his sound which is the direction I want to take my music. Kaytranada had a show with ASAP Rocky in Miami during Art Basel 2015 & brought out Denzel Curry to perform a few songs. I was invited by Denzel to perform an unreleased version of "Dressed 2 Kill" not even knowing if Kaytranada had even heard it, let alone liked it. During my performance of the unreleased record, I look over & see Denzel on my left, as expected, I look over to my right and see Kaytranada who had came from behind the DJ Booth to vibe out to the song with us. At that moment I know this song had to be heard by you guys.... Thank you so much

Having grown up in Germany’s techno and acid-house heyday, Steve Bug’s love for a perfect groove is as apparent now as it was back then.

His DJ skills and a keen, innovative ear led him not down the typical path of the early nineties trance and harder dance scene, but instead towards a fresher, hybrid sound–merging stripped deep house, tweaked out acid and more minimal forms of techno and electronic music. With annual label compilations, a variety of artist albums, and new concepts like the Forward to the Past series, Steve Bug continues to steadily develop his Poker Flat imprint, as well as his own internationally touring DJ career. In recent years, he has taken the label further afield, with the Big Bluff event series stopping off in major cities worldwide and in hosting a label party with Boiler Room Berlin.

On 29 October, Steve Bug returns to Los Angeles where he will be manning the decks at Minimal Effort's Halloween party alongside the likes of Pete Tong, Tiga, Audion, Mark Farina, Tensnake, and many more. Anticipating the event Steve has been kind enough to provide us with an exlcusive mix of deep house tracks, of which he describes as:

"For this podcast I decided to create a very special house mix featuring my favorite house tunes of the past few years, from deep and beautiful to ruff and nasty and back again. I hope you enjoy it.”
