Selador, the independent underground label spearheaded by Dave Seaman & Steve Parry, may be just two years young, but they have built quite the repertoire of artists, and their 24th release is one by Dutchman Jaap Jigthart titled “I Know Change”, which has Alice Rose on vocals.

SHOW-B keep the melodies a little more minimal and roll out the percussions. This interpretation is tougher, and keeps things darker in a more visceral aspect, in that, the atmospheric aura surrounding the original are seemingly not as prominent in this remix.

From the birth of his career in 2012, Rome-native Whitesquare has been championed by many successful DJs and producers. The newest signing to the Leeds imprint and 2020 Vision family, Whitesquare marks a shift in direction for both label and artist with ‘Peaks.’

The release signifies more than a few beginnings; the start of summer, a change in production values for Whitesquare and a re-branding of the label. ‘Peaks’ pure and euphoric 4 tracks of melodic, deep and emotive house and techno effortlessly bridges these gaps.

Both A-sides ‘Someone Else’ and ‘About The Past’ are characterised by a mellow lyricism that progresses into steady dance floor cuts. Whilst, B-side ‘Abraxas’ and 'Peaks' shift gear into deeper techno territory, containing a darker agenda, swirling into compelling compositions in their own right.

The union between Whitesquare and 2020 Vision seems like a perfect fit and with more releases in the pipeline, this is certainly only the beginning. Today we are proud to premiere 'Someone Else'. Take a listen below and let us know what you think of the track.

Creative partnership Audiofly are the next to release on Crosstown Rebels with the show stopping ‘In The (Last) Moment’ featuring the angelic voice of Georgia Lewis. The release comes complete with a steadfast remix from Germany’s Robag Wruhme.

‘In the (Last) Moment’ sets the foundation with broken chuggy beats as intricate layers and grumbling pads unfold beneath the beautiful sounds of Georgia’s voice. Audiofly explain that, "sometimes it’s nice to not have to write the usual peak time bomb, with this one we followed our hearts and the vibe of young vocalist Georgia Lewis and what emerged was a sunrise moment."

With 13 years behind them Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito AKA Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand, which celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year with a world tour. Working harder than ever, a second artist album is in the works following on from 2011 long-player ‘Follow My Liebe’.

Industry veteran Robag Wruhme has more recently had releases on the likes of Kompakt and Pampa Records. Here he makes an imprint on Crosstown Rebels with this epic remix that fuses elated synths and industrial elements over solid rolling percussion.
