The original “Untitled B2” from the WORKSHOP 010 EP showcases Ron Deacon’s characteristic raw deep-house sound, shaped by analog machines and warm lo-fi textures. The Homage EP recalls the sound of earlier years, feeling imperfectly organic and developing a hypnotic, almost meditative depth. Gentle chords, restrained percussion, and a slightly wavering groove create an intimate, timeless atmosphere. The Homage EP remains minimalist yet full of feeling, driven by subtle changes that unfold slowly. The result is a piece that feels nostalgic while still sounding remarkably fresh in a contemporary context.

Die ursprüngliche „Untitled B2“ von der WORKSHOP 010-EP zeigt Ron Deacons charakteristischen, rohen Deep-House-Sound, der stark von analogen Maschinen und warmen Lo-Fi-Texturen geprägt ist. Die Homage EP erinnert  an den Sound der früheren Jahre, wirkt unperfekt-organisch und entwickelt eine hypnotische, fast meditative Tiefe. Sanfte Chords, zurückhaltende Percussion und ein leicht schwankender Groove erzeugen eine intime, zeitlose Atmosphäre.. Die Homage EP bleibt minimalistisch, aber gefühlvoll und lebt von subtilen Veränderungen, die sich langsam entfalten. So entsteht ein Stück, das sowohl nostalgisch wirkt als auch im heutigen Kontext erstaunlich frisch bleibt.

Following the debut of his track 'Marta' a couple of months ago on our 'Miami WMC 2016' Sampler, Armen Miran is back to showcase his latest 'Lost Found EP'.

The EP includes two eclectic original tracks named 'Lost Found' & 'Jojo In The Stars'. Both are organically produced in slow-motion with ethnically charged drum patterns, melodies and vocals. 

On remix duties, first up, we welcome back Hraach who delivers a Slow remake  of 'Jojo In The Stars'. Known for his keyboard work, Hraach wrote and composed his own melodies and injected a little more ethnicity, nostalgia and drama into his timeless rendition. 

Last but certainly not least, we are also happy to welcome back Robot Needs Oil to the label who delivers a groovy, tribalistic and four to the floor club version of 'Jojo In The Stars' that's destined for the late night hours.

this is always something really special, because it's about great food, delicious wine and great music i never play in a club.
this selection is 90% vinyl....some rare stuff from the 50s, 60s,70s...lot of 7"s, lot of stuff i found in small record shops in south africa, egypt or somewhere else in the world.
i really love to play stuff like this from time to time and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

Welcome to the third mix that we will share in this already magical year of 2018. Out of all the artists that we have ever met, Luis is one of my personal favourites. 

The relationship between an artist and promoter is sometimes challenging. As soon as we work with an artist we try to support them in every way possible. They have become our family. And that is what we do. It was SUPER difficult in the beginning to find the perfect balance between that support and booking artists new to The Gardens. 

Luis is going to premier inside The Gardens in 2018, EVEN THOUGH he had his eye on the vision & vibe of The Gardens as soon as it started. He would send me music on a monthly basis. Beautiful, gripping, EXTRAORDINARY music. 

Now... The pieces have fell into the puzzle.

His mix is simply divine. See this as the introduction of an artist that you will experience often this year.

what a crazy beautiful night and what an amazing crowd i played for right after Mira.
unfortunately the batteries died so we could only record the first 2 hours, but this gig was so special for me that i wanted to share at least these 2 hours <3
