MINI-INTERVIEW

What was your most significant club / festival moment?
"One of the most impressive and outstanding moments was on the Sonne Mond & Sterne Festival, where I got invited for a DJ Contest. My playtime was at 6 in the morning and the booth was located directly at the beach of the lake. The morning sun rose above the lake and around 1.000 people danced in front of me and startet screaming by one of my tracks. This was an absolute goosebump moment."

Who inspired you the most on your path as an artist?
"There are many artists who inspired me over the years, startet by Jan Hammer through whom I was "infected" with electronic music. But also Kerry Chandler, Dave Clarke, or Gorge - founder and owner of 8Bit Recordings, have influenced my musical path. But if you are asking about one special artist, I would name Kastis Torrau as his sounds and productions had impressed and influenced my a lot in the last past years."

What do you do to get into a creative state?
"Well, I would rather say that creativity is always inside me, sometimes it just hides and need to be a little bit tickled to come out. This could be a track to which I listen, a good coffee or a co-working session with a friend in the studio, or sometimes just the smile of my wife. There is no explicit way to get into that state."

Spotlight 006 | Herr Oppermann

SAMMER is a Bulgarian born DJ living between Ibiza and Mexico. Inspired by Afterlife and obsessed with the world of melancholy , her music takes us on journeys between time , space and mind.

Her most remarkable appearance is her gig at the Motel room for Afterlife By Tale of us , both  hosted in Privilege and Hi Ibiza (Motel 8289), Shortly after she gained notoriety by major djs in the industry.  She soon started playing around the island with residency in Sunset Ashram,Europe and Latin America followed with cities like Milan, Istanbul, London, Mexico City & Tulum.

As her Mexican tour was postponed this year, she recorded this beautiful melodic jungle set that includes some new tracks and some old tunes, reminded of the beautiful Tulum magic. A joyful dance availed in fog of melancholy.

His genres are so full like the book diversity in the state library of Berlin. He takes his listeners on a journey in electronic music landscapes full of adventures and variety between gently sounds and wild party music for the crowd. Who wants thier audience to shake their asses and dance off should order Daniel Reifenberg behind the decks. The nature lover make it that his listeners stay in a atmosphere while moving their hips in the same time. The DJ-enthusiast is not just playing track by track. He tells much more sound tales, which remain in the body and the mind. The red thread from the first tone until the last beat make his sessions unforgettable.

Daniel Reifenberg produces with his best friend Silvio aka Sepsi-TT music since 2014. Next to tracks and a live band project they shape individual club nights, enthusiastic partys and transform open air locations to a inspiring music happening. Their current project called FreLab unites studio, video and artist meeting point in one setting. Artists, DJs and newcomer from the electronic milieu come together and share their passion for music. Friends and artists who joining this heart project are Max Lindemann, Fuxia, Ascon Bates, the collective Insel der Visionen, the crew of the Leipziger Club Brotfabrik and the Club Trafo.
