He traveled the world from Mexico to Argentina playing in numerous clubs, parties and festivals.

Als ich 1991 meine ersten Vinyl´s gekauft habe, wurde ich von den meisten noch ungläubig belächelt. 1992 stand ich das erste Mal an 2 Plattenspielern. Damals hatten wir ein altes DDR Mischpult, welches noch mit Batterien funktionierte. Wenn die alle waren, ging das Mischpult aus.  
Die BASIS Leipzig, Ravechannel auf DT64, XPLODE Records und die OPERA Leipzig haben mich Musikalisch geprägt und dazu beigetragen, dass ihr genau diesen Sound auch nach 30 Jahren immer noch genießen könnt. 
Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an alle freiwilligen Helfer, Wegbegleiter und Gäste der EASTSIDE Partys (Zweinaundorfer Straße & Gerichtsweg), der ehemaligen PROTEX-ZERO Crew (Spinnereistraße) und allen die mitgewirkt haben, dass das MOLEN_DYK (Leipzig Stötteritz), für über 2 Jahre zu unserem Wohnzimmer geworden ist. Eine unvergessene Zeit. Danke auch an den Musikladen Leipzig, Unknown Species, Philter Music, Deep House Moscow, Deep House Radio, Planet Ibiza, Beach Radio London und alle die regelmäßig meine Mixes hören.

3 QUESTIONS to TONE DEPTH:



Q: Talking about your mix: how did these tracks shape your career?

A: First of all thanks for inviting me, it was a fun mix to do and was quite the retrospective. This mix was a trip back through time for me.   Many of the pieces here inspired me to create my own music from a young age, as well as been the soundtrack to integral moments in my life.  I’ve played guitar since the age of 11. In my teenage years I spent a lot of time in rock bands, but eventually wasn’t satisfied as the music I was listening to incorporate so many other unworldly elements that couldn’t be achieved with traditional instruments. Most of the music in this mix was material that inspired me to explore beyond my instrument (guitar) and discover the land of synthesizers and samplers to create what I was hearing in my head. So I would say that these tracks are songs that I would still listen to today and are the original pieces that gave me a sense of wonder to discover creating music by myself with technology. These pieces started me off on a journey that will continue for the rest of my life.

Q: What do these tracks still mean to you today and would you play some of them in your DJ sets?

A: These tracks all mean a lot to me in many different ways. On a personal level each track will trigger memories of times and places in my life that are important to me. Some memories are great and others not, so these songs have the ability to trigger strong emotions for me. Some songs for me are difficult to listen to because they got me through some bad times and as much as I love the song, it reminds me of those moments and can almost bring me to tears. But mostly even those songs will eventually put a smile on my face because they resonate with me so deeply that it’s like being in the presence of a long lost friend. I would definitely play some of these in my sets and after doing this mix it inspired me to do some re-edits for my sets in future. So when I have some free time I’ll experiment with that a bit.

Q: Which future projects are in the making?

A: At the moment my studio schedule is locked down with remixes until the end of the year. I’ve been mostly doing that for now and have a remix of Dance Spirit coming out on Dreaming Awake in December which will be my last release of 2019. After those are done I’ll be finishing up a body of work of originals for my 2020 release schedule so I’m excited to spend my time between touring in studio.

A true coastal boy, who loves and lives the cool breeze of the Baltic Sea, has conspired with music since his childhood. Early he became acquainted with the use of instruments and developed a dedication for the musical happenings. With the first visits to Schützenhouse Marlow in 2009, he turned to electronic music. He quickly bought his first equipment to practice and develop his Skills.
Names such as Oliver Koletzki, Oliver Huntemann, Solomun, and Carlo Ruetz were the hallmarks of his modern technoid influences, which can be heard in his sets. Pressureful basses and dreamy melodies characterize his style, which should take the listener on a journey of the senses.

"The world is changing, and we are experiencing a new normal.
This year has been full of uncertainties, ups and downs for that have been mentally taxing for many people, ourselves included.
We have always found music to be a form of therapy, something that helps us work through emotions that we cannot always find the words to express.
For this set we wanted to reflect on this year and create a musical arc that mirrors the ups and downs that we have all been going through, it is sometimes softer, sometimes more impactful, a progression of our energy.
Our set has been created with music that comes from our heart, that moves us and has brought us joy, we really hope that you feel a connection and joy from it too. It was a real pleasure to prepare this set, we had the vision for Flow in mind throughout creating it whilst sharing music that we have connected with and represents us, so we hope you enjoy it.
