Awen has reached release number 098, getting closer to the tree digit landmarc, we proudly present “Algiz EP”. 
This particular Ep finds itself strongly influenced by the Patagonian forest and its weather. It presents four cuts in which you’ll discover dark atmospheres enveloping abstract melodies, and the powerful leads that so much resonate with Awen Records.

“Algiz”, a Viking rune that means protection, is a dark and deep track, featuring strong arrangements. “Babel” is also deep, displaying powerful leads, abstract melodies hooked with a very special groove. For “Antartida” heavy kick and a strong bassline are the weapon of choice, for the break, dramatic increase of the lead elements. 

Included too, a vocal edit for “Antartida”, following the usual improvised Live vocals present on every Biotech Patagonia DJ Set. 
Inspired by Deep Melodic Techno sounds, and adding live vocals to their shows, they create a fresh and unique atmosphere, every time. Based in Patagonia Argentina close to Cordillera de los Andes, surrounded by ancient forests, lakes and mountains. 

In 2018 they released their first EP called "Natura" including "Uner & Viviana Toscanini's" remix. Following, they released remixes from Saulo Pisa and Tuco. Later on Mid 2019 they signed on Solar Distance for a new release, part of Discoveries EP. 

During the european summer, they collaborated with a variety of artists on Running Clouds and Natura Viva with remixes and vocals. For 2020, they have a new EP and collaborations with melodic techno producers from Europe too. 

Playing from London, Ibiza, Madrid, Tongeren & Barcelona, performing in Patagonia, Chile, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza, etc. Show after show they have spread their sound receiving a very positive response from the crowd.

Exclusive: Priorat - Transgènic (Marc Piñol Remix)

Barcelona-based imprint Vondreib Records readies the long overdue second release, Transonàmbul,  from Catalan producer and Hivern Discs regular Priorat. The four tracker is provided with two original takes, namely Sonàmbul and Transgènic, coming with a remix for each take. While  Sonàmbul is taken care of by Velmonda, it's Hivern Discs mainstay Marc Piñol who gets his hands on the already dance floor oriented Transgènic and – without being too anticipatory – delivers a remix that is so subtle charming its listeners that one would not realize how deeply you are soaked into Piñol's continuous psychedelic musical cosmos until the track lets go. With Acid-ish bleeps taking the lead and intriguing pan-flute like synths as well as 'water dropping from the stalagmites of a limestone cave'-sounds all alternating throughout the track, Transgènic's organic and natural vibe flatters the dark dance floor in the most humble yet decently sophisticated manner and let's you imagine yourself moving to the bass line in the spheres of cosmic grandeur with closed eyes. 

Priorat's EP Transonàmbul will be released on Vondreib Records on July 13th, 2020.
