'Dansor returns to her Comport Records imprint with a mesmerising single featuring remixes from Mexican duo Natural Flow and Croatia’s Andrea Ljekaj.
Having just toured Europe, the first of the remixes comes from Alium regulars Natural Flow, aka Hugo Ibarra and Antu Coimbra, who have risen to become hot prospects within Mexico’s electronic music scene. Ibarra manages Intemporal Music whereas Coimbra is known for appearances on Hope Recordings and Sullivan Room NYC. Meanwhile, Andrea Ljekaj’s productions have landed on Get Physical and Save Us Records, picking up support from the BBC not to mention names such as Luciano, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus and M.A.N.D.Y .
Featured on Dansor’s debut album ‘Theory Of Love’ released earlier this year, ‘Inverted Moments’ is a hypnotizing production utilizing distorted vocals, soaring strings and echoing effects. Next, Natural Flow’s twisted remix strips things back whilst employing a tantalizing hook and ominous atmospherics before introducing a sinister organ riff in the latter half. Concluding the package, Andrea Ljekaj’s rendition features crunchy percussion and offbeat stabs for a groove led dancefloor workout.'

"Panoramique Voyage" EP tells a story, each track narrating a chapter... 
"Gathered in 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲, the launching station, spatial rockets are preparing to leave. The ambient excitation is palpable while the motors vibrate in unison synchronizing with the frequency of CPG03, the astral gateway. The first expedition through this sidereal ring is carried on by Captain Nils, who will lead the fleet for this first initiation crossing. Being at an experimental stage, how to know if jumping into the unknown will not end up in a catastrophe?

The 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗲 finally starts, interstellar landscapes scroll under the marveled looks of the astral explorers. The echoes of the sparkling colors coming from the portal give away the presence of new horizons. The travelers’ conscience finally flies through the portal.

The initial euphoria will fade by and by replaced by uncertainty, which thrusts the crew in doubt and apprehension. Suddenly, crashes and whizzing sounds invade space. 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 caused by the asteroids field in which the fleet has just teleported itself in, force the pilots to maneuver in order to avoid the worst. Focusing again on the strength of their attention, they stopped heeding to their fear and held on.

Their determination paid off: They reached a very serene and quiet space, and named it 𝗠𝗮𝗼𝗻. Made of pure light, it gave back lucidity to their conscience and liberated them, unveiling the universal harmony and kindness which wraps every existing thing. On their way back, they thought of how the story of their epic will inspire future travelers."

Release Info: 
Aravis is a French three person formation who find their inspiration in dark pop and chilled out vibes. Their music let's you escape you into another world tinged with elegant melancholy. 'Society' is a song from their 2015 debut release 'Liberty Is Your Choice' and we're excited to show you the remixes by Spanish duo Animal Picnic and Dutch duo Marc Holstege and Montem.

The idea for this release was first born when WEITER artist Marc Holstege and Vektor Music label owner Montem were in the studio together and came across Aravis on Soundcloud. They were immediately blown away by the vocals and thought it would be an amazing experience to remix one of their songs. They reached out to Aravis and to their surprise the band responded to their message the same day and send over the remix parts for 'Society'.

When their remix was done Montem shared it with Manual label owner Paul Hazendonk who was immediately interested and the idea of giving it an official release was born. At that stage Animal Picnic (Steyoyoke, Noir, Suara, Parquet, Click, Einmusika) were asked to make a remix as well to give the release a more wider appeal and well.. that's basically how we got here!

Two amazingly intense, emotional and haunting remixes for the very lovely 'Society' by Aravis. We hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do!
