Hope

Mr. Moon is an indie alternative band based in Los Angeles, CA.  Starting as the solo project of Michael de Virgilio, Mr. Moon has become a full band with the addition of guitarist, Cory McClintic, drummer, Daniel Coles, and bassist, Miller Klitsner. All students at UCLA, Mr. Moon has played several local shows in the Los Angeles, including one at The Cinema Bar in Culver City.  Mr. Moon creates mellow indie rock with elements of jazz and folk and seeks to present their music as bittersweet nostalgia, in an attempt to mollify the emptiness of the present.  

Just a couple of songwriters trying to find our way. Blessed with some INCREDIBLE musician friends (Tim Pierce, Matt Laug, Jimmy Z, Arlan Schierbaum, Bill Churchville, Rafael Padilla, Michael Parnell) that create the musical magic of Ruby LaRue!  Steve Valenzuela is our trusted engineer and studio Producer Guru. We'd be lost without them. We share our music during the mix process and welcome everyone's 2 cents. Thanks for listening! The Dark Afterglow is an art project which was founded in 2011 by the austrian musician Alexander Herzog, born 1991. He writes, records and designs everything on his own as a one-man-factory. His songwriting is very spontaneous and instinctive. All tracks are written and recorded at his home with the most minimal equipment you could find to keep the truth of music at the highest point.
