Psychoyogi are mainly influenced by Progressive Rock, Jazz and most music that is slightly left of centre. Some of our favourites include, Frank Zappa, King Crimson Captain Beefheart, Gong, Gentle Giant, Bartok,Messiaen, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Primus, Tool and many more. Band members include, Jonas Golland from the Tiger Lillies - Drums, Cymbals and other interesting objects, David Rees - Bass, Tim Smart from theSpecials -Trombone, John Macnaughton - Alto Sax and Clarinet, Toby Nowell- Tenor Sax, Soprano sax and Trumpet and Chris Ramsing - Guitar and Vocals. Chris also writes and arranges all lyrics and music and sometimes performs solo as Son of Psychoyogi.
