Hugo Barritt

Originally born in New Zealand, Hugo Barritt now resides in Berlin embellishing the city as a playground for exploring his musical passions. During the last few years Hugo has spent his time committed to the studio with impressive outcomes, beginning with three releases on Vitalik Recordings, the "We Love Space" compilation, the ‘Merkaba EP’, backed with remixes by Pezzner and Ethyl and the more notably the ‘Kontrol EP’.

2015 see’s the fruits of Hugo’s recent studio sessions take shape. The first is a track on CONSTRUCT’s first CLTD Vinyl EP series, alongside Sam Russo’s new Stratowerx guise, Water Walk andWilliam Welt. In May he’ll release a new 3 track EP for No Fit State, in June the ’NYC Cougar' EP for Vitalik and a new track for Nordik Net featuring remixes from Sascha Dive and Jack Wickham, and in July a track on the new Alma Soul split EP alongside Matthias Vogt, Martin Patino and Hans Thalau.
