"The late 70’s soul and funk hymn “I Think I’ll Do Some Stepping (On My Own)” by New York based singer Sandy Barber got reworked for modern vintage requirements. The original version was featured on Sandy Barber’s album “The Best Is Yet To Come.” from 1978 and it’s reconstruction has been done by Opolopo from Stockholm. The dj and producer from Sweden previously appeared on labels like Swedish Brandy Productions, Local Talk, Tokyo Dawn Records or Ebo Records with modern house sounds and a strong soul affection. His currently released work is a classical edit that breathes the emotive energy of a strong base material but should also delight unprejudiced ears and dancing feet, because the art of editing has been done with a keen sense in here. Slight changes and cuts, as well as decently added sounds straightens the original with its musical complexity and different parts into an ongoing late night disco soul pleasure. Very nice! (Jan) "

Not So Under scored with his second release in the last year for a very special surprise. "So Far" brought a lot of positive feedback from all over the world and made it right away under the most-wanted titles from deep. This is reason enough for us to share this success with other artists and we are proud that the remixes are in no way inferior to the original title.

Dilby celebrates his debut on deep. and comes with a very refreshing version of this track. He impressed us with its many employed, specifically details and his outcry to the dancefloor. The slightly mystical-inspired style of this production, gives "So Far" the very special Dilby touch and refreshes every dancefloor.

Manos interpretes the title in his very own and yet very familiar style. Slightly dreamy, he draws his audience under his spell and then grabs them with his groove and does not let them go. To this end, the very catchy vocal pairing as a tribute to the unnoticed creeping urge to move to the beat. A must for every well sorter dj set.

Riotact is a very fresh, talented turkish artist, who has made us noticed him, to express with this absolute magical nature of of his art. He creates with his remix a very different interpretation of "So Far". Located between electronic and ambient sounds, this remix takes us on a journey through a whole new world.

"Take Me There" is melodic banger just in time for the summer. We all know Patricks previous work so it comes as no surprise when we say this is good. 

A hypnotic vibe is given to the listener from the start, top it off with a sexy vocal and the characteristic pads & synths.

On the remix side we start of with the duo https://soundcloud.com/long_harris. This time we add a more uptempo beat but still keep it slick and contant. Time to put on the dance shoes cause this is groovy.

Second remix comes from https://soundcloud.com/soul-button. This one take another direction from the start. Dark and atmospheric and it give the listener a chance to slowly build up a tension that is completed after the break.

Last but not least we have https://soundcloud.com/cassimmofficial. He has frequently been remixing for Spirit Soul Records and we love what he do. Once again he give the track a edge and twist that we could not dream of.

Now we've got a piece of his latest work for you 'Follow Me' featuring the lovely vocals of Liz Cass. Our 8th cataloguenumber comes from an artist, who is not entirely unknown in the deep house scene. Thomas Dieckmann publishs one of his best EPs ever, on deep. Powerloaded sound and pure clubfeeling, let us immerse into a world, where the morning is not the end of the night.

Sorry Honey is a very atmospheric sounding track, but with his deep kicks and his groovy bassline, unmistakably he has been found his place in the clubs. The vocal, that onset right to the point brings us to the highest point of the track. Everytime where we played this track, a majestic atmosphere, raising arms and overcoming goosebumps jammed with it!

Jamy Wing shows us with the "Honeymoon Slap Mix" his own personal interpretation of "Sorry Honey". A bit more minimalistic than the original, but this remix is not with less charme. Jamy is also setting the lead vocals very effectively, and the very clear tuned percussions, which are in the course of the gradually building up of the track, continually provide fresh and enrich the track on the very own Jamy Wing way.

Caught Up Tiger shows us his refreshing page. With clean, fresh and very finely tuned synthybassline and a usual groovy feeling. The interplay of synthstabs, lead vocal and rhodes brings a warm, soulful touch in the track, that should not be missed in any well sorted afterhour dj-set.

Darko Kustura give us, with his remix of "Caught Up Tiger" a quite other side of this thoroughly brilliant groovy ep. However, it means not, that the young Croatian does not understand to set up his own version of groove throughout this whole remix. This absolutely stunning display of its kind "Caught Up Tiger" to interpret, we can not sit still! It pulls the listener with its pumping bass and the very very cool raw feeling every time again in his spell.

Tom Odell - Another Love (Zwette Edit)

Calvera handed with his "New Born EP" a new masterpiece, that seeks it's equal. Pumping Deep House at it's best.

First up is a very refreshing track called "New Born '79". With the typical Calvera oldschool-sound, the genial dane is always on spot and an absolutely overwhelming feeling comes over every floor, which is heated with this title. Pumping basses, an insanely groovy bassline, coupled with fantastic dreamy faces and a homarge from the perspective of the artist about his relationship with the music. No one can stand still by hearing this title, and each one is powerless against him!

The second track of this bundle is bursting of power! "Nicecream" shows us a side, that Calvera knows all too well of himself - Long clubnights, where this sound should not be missed. Peak time is announced and Calvera understands this as well as the "Slow Down A Little Bit"-character of his other tracks! A shuffly beat, punchy basses and a damn cool deephouse Raw feeling, this tracks brings to the club. You're seeking the peak of the peak time? Here it is, "Nicecream"!

Last But not least! The third track of this thoroughly groovy Ep comes by none lesser than Thomas Stieler. Keep Dancing is the motto here and that he also creates with his remix of "New Born '79". Thomas manages the lovingly rearranged chords to provide a surface, on which the listener seems to float just translucent. The track is spurred by a crisp beat, which divides the space as well as the original, with a very nice groovy bassline and the Homarge to the life with the music of the artist:

It hit me and  stucked! It is the magical of playing music for people. And it's been not stopped, and it's been honest. You pick out many different things, that are natural to you, that are organic to you, that draw you specifically.

Not So Under - Diamonds EP

Not So Under brings with his debut ep on deep. force charged and timeless sound without compromises.

The first title, which is also namesake of this EP, "Jewels & Diamonds", is sonically more relevant than ever. He comes with a very crisp, shuffely beat and arouses curiosity to enjoy the track as whole. Paired with rich moogsounds and a vocal that just looking to hit the dance floor, this track moves every dancefloor and spreads a unique Vibe, no matter what time it is.

Track number 2 takes the world a little out of speed. With its well designed and lovingly used vocal it seems as if you are gently taken by the hand and carried off. With a unique sound, "Faces" brings warmth and a sense of timelessness to the whole ep, which takes us on a journey, far away from any effort.

"Kids" is an instrumental untreated track, who's mixing a pleasant of soft mood to each dj set. It comes with very fresh and warm synth-sounds, which are fully in line with the powerfull rhythm. Kids is a homarge to the life with his inimitable moments, that draw us into its spell day by day.

The fourth title in the league is the remix of a very talented artist of southamerica. The brazilian artist Danke gives the title "Jewels & Diamonds" a very special note. Danke interpreted this track in its own way, with a full range of well balanced huge sounds over it. He gives him a deep touch, set him in scene with great attention to the detail and rounded up the whole ep with full harmony.
