In a not too distant future Deep Scan Technologies, a once high functioning enterprise at the forefront of computer tech descends into worn-torn collapse. With their signature product the Deep Scan SSD being shipped out with a mysterious defect that left the masses with a security vulnerability. Data and information lost its value spiralling the world into economic collapse. A few scientists at the Deep Scan Technologies team remain and try to pick up the pieces of a world forgotten. A prototype for the Solid State Drive 2 is found by cyborg scouring the wasteland for remains. The relic taken back to a secure Deep Scan lab deep underground.
