"Am humbled to be asked to do the debut mix in this new series for Shango, The label has been a big and supportive part of my music career over the last couple of years and in my eyes one of the most consistent and on point labels in its genre.
This mix sticks to my usual approach... deep yet funky, slow but energetic with a few little surprises and full of producers who are pushing boundaries and who’s music has defined my DJ sets recently.

If you've been paying much attention to the progressive & melodic house scene, there's a good chance you've noticed the Tel Aviv-based duo making a lot of noise recently. Whether it's their standout releases on labels like Nora En Pure's Purified Records, or their staggering DJ support record boasting artists such as Armin van Buuren, Adriatique, Miss Monique, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and countless others. To say Eli & Dani are quickly becoming an industry powerhouse would be an understatement. 

When the pair heard The Weeknd's blockbuster hit 'Nothing Is Lost' they soon realised the potential a remix could have. Before they knew it, the duo had produced a version that would go on to wreak havoc in their DJ sets. As is often the case with distinctive renditions of popular tracks, it didn't take long before their remix would become somewhat of a secret weapon. The pair would constantly get asked about the track and when it would see the light of day. Two weeks ago, I finally had a flight to Odessa, Ukraine for a very anticipated gig at Caleton after 5 months without touring. During the last years, I had the chance to play several times in Kyiv and Kharkiv.
I felt great connection with the Ukrainian crowd and I know that a many people in Odessa have been waited to hear me playing there for the first time. When I arrived to Odessa I made a COVID-19 test at the airport and unfortunately, the results came positive. I was very sad from the news, but especially for not being able to play on this occasion for my fans. Due to the positive test, I was forced to be in isolated for 14 days in the hotel room at Odessa. For any person that suffers from panic attacks, like me, It's a really tough experience to be locked in a hotel room in a foreign country without any possibility to get out. I had no other choice but to stay strong and overcome this depressing situation, so I decided to sweeten it a bit by making a special podcast of the tunes I've been listening to during the isolation and helped me get through the days.
Sharing this kind of podcast with almost non-electronic tunes is definitely a new experience for me as are usually used to hearing electronic stuff from me, so I hope that you'll like it too.
In addition, I want to say a big thanks to Slava & Maxim from Eleatics Records, Angelov from Diynamic and to Moti, Markus & Jero my agents for their caring and arranging my stay in Ukraine in the best way possible, I really appreciate it.

The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) and this rāga comes from this fresh duo Ohara @martin-o-nami and @nevin-dmello-1 they recently got together and discovered their common love for organic tunes…This is one of their first sets together, one of the most promising acts out of India in my opinion.
