💿 Familygroove 💿

Mit SiMa hat sich gefunden, was zusammengehört. Zwischen Windelwechseln, Waldspaziergängen und Wochenendtouren haben die beiden die Zeit gefunden, einen neuen Podcast aufzunehmen. In ihrer musikalischen Synthese beschreiten Simon und Myrna einen housigen Weg. Dabei wird es primär fröhlich, unkompliziert und geht locker aus der Hüfte. Mit diesem Sound gibt es Sommer auch bei Eis und Schnee. Wir freuen uns sehr, SiMa auf KataHafisch begrüßen zu dürfen, und wünschen weiterhin alles erdenklich Gute.

No.TFS is a hard techno DJ located in Berlin. Her music is inspired by darkness, sweaty bunkers and endless nights. Pushy basses and rumbling sounds describe her grim style. It follows a clean industrial touch, developing into a hypnotic style. As a resident for Symbiotikka her common playground is KITKAT, one of Berlin’s most famous clubs. Further she is a resident at Berlins event series SILIKON for only FLINTA* artists. Beyond conquering the Berlin techno scene (including co-founding fhainest in 2020) she has made her presence known internationally - playing in places such as Beirut, Cambodia and Singapore.

Rummels Bucht <3 what can I say, you always have been and always will be my favorite club in the world. I'm so thankful for the countless moments and memories. When I saw my name in the line up of the floor "Maschinenraum" I knew it was going to be a special one for me. And the gig was as unique as expected - with sweat dripping down the ceiling onto the equipment which cause some technical errors in the beginning but we were able to fix it. Hellouu, i bims der Matti und komme aus Berlin, Charlottenburg.

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Mein erstes Mal aufgelegt habe ich 2012 als ich noch ein junger Spund war. Das war im Wohnzimmer von meinem Bruder, seinem Billo-Setup und seiner Audiothek.  Der meinte: "Mach mal, du kannst das bestimmt!" Dafür bin ich ihm immer noch sehr dankbar, weil es mein erster Kontakt zu House und dem Musikmachen war! 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?
Für dieses Set hat mich das Label "Molt" (!), der Frühling und der frühe Downtempo inspiriert. Ich vermisse die Zeit wo es nicht so viel um musikalische Banger ging und alle einfach rumprobiert haben. But: "The times they are a changing", i guess. Und zurückblicken kann man ja immer noch, vor allem wenn die direktive “Schleichend” heißt <3 
 
>>Welche Ziele als Künstler:in willst du noch erreichen?
Als Künstler habe ich mittlerweile nur noch ein Ziel: mit mir und meinen Sets / Liedern glücklich und zufrieden sein. Schon länger arbeite ich daran, mich weniger mit anderem zu vergleichen und weniger von mir zu erwarten. Der ständige Kontakt mit dem durch Zahlen verkörperten Erfolg, und jeder Menge Selbstdarstellungen (z.B. auf Instagram), machen das jedoch nicht leicht. 
Die beste Medizin gegen den Unmut sind für mich liebe Nachrichten und Kommentare! Der Einfluss von zuhörenden Person wird glaub ich sehr unterschätzt. Daher ein dickes dickes DANKE an alle gesprächigen Hoffnungsspender dieser Welt. You made my day so many times!

AKA NINA, born and raised in Switzerland. 
One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

Representing xXETEXx, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene. With plenty high-quality releases in her career with Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, Psy4Aliens, Zenon Records and Kafka Tempo.

Nina has had the pleasure of performing at famous festivals, like Boom Festival, Modem Festival, Fusion Festival, Masters of Puppets, Shankra FestivaL, Fora de Tempo, Odyssee and many more including HillTop Goa!
