This time he shares the knowledge of a long forgotten verse, which, once read, may have the force of projecting you into another plane..

After an intimate closing party with friends and family in Amsterdam last Friday, it’s time to salute you and everyone else that has been following us online. A sign of gratitude. One last present. Our musical testament.

As a final endeavour, we asked all SEKOIA team members to select 5 tracks that have stuck with them through the years. Tunes that fully embody the SEKOIA sound, songs with special stories and music that would directly take them back to special moments experienced in the last four years. 

During a rainy January afternoon, Will Oirson, Florinsz Janvier and Vela Uniform got together in the studio and mixed all these tracks into one, massive 5 hour recording. Our final podcast and our last gift to you. Lots of recognisable tracks, a collection of classics. Songs that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. A podcast with different chapters. There’s something in here for everyone. Please enjoy it as much as we did creating it! 

Unfortunately, for now, it’s time to say goodbye. Our thanks go out to each and every one of you and we hope to see you out in the field!

Sabrina Mue from Berlin made her debut appearance with “Breakaway” in 2014 on Katermukke, one of the German Capital’s best known House imprints. The track was made with Lars Moston, with whom she also produced her second release “We Used To Dance” on WellDone! Music, which got her noticed by some big names, including Claptone, who featured the track on his famous Clapcast. Another release alongside Lars Moston is coming out on WellDone! soon and Sabrina is now preparing the next step and producing solo material.
Expect to see one of Sabrina’s DJ sets at a club near you soon…

Zone+ (Zeyad Mohsen) & Usif (Yousif Sanad) Dj's/ Producers from Bahrain. Both realized they have a common language "music" , after opening b2b for many well know artist, they decided to work together forming Zone+ & Usif. They released an Ep "Nomad" on Akumandra and 2 singles "Nubira" & "Sitar" with Talavera records.

In June they will have an EP coming out on Underyourskin Records featuring remixes by Canson & Monolink.

MoM, DJ based out the Andalusia’s city of Cordoba.

His first experiences with mixing tables was back in

1989 when he was attracted by acid house music and

the latest pieces on funky and disco music. His first

professional experience at a DJ booth was around

techno music at clubs like Teiker and Plató, two of the

most renowned clubs in Cordoba.

In 1993 is when he started to listen to the first deep

records through WORKS music label. During this

period is when he met a DJ with more experience,

Miguel Martín who introduced him to the richness and

depth of electronic music. The Spanish music label

CONTRASEÑA was still publishing the latest records of

electronic guitar but it also had a special connection

with the dance floors through their depth.

Miguel’s influence on MoM was such, that even years

after Miguel’s death in 2009, he created a radio show

called “mut&mut” along with the speaker Jesús

Zamora. The name of the show was a tribute to “MUT”

the name of the only maxi-single published by Miguel

Martín.

MoM ́s experience and creativity allowed him to take

on a new professional challenge: leading Pep ́s

Records marketing department in Madrid.

After a few years of working and achieving good

results he decides to create Carta de Ajuste

Comunicación ,his own Management and Marketing

agency. During this period he performed sessions in

Córdoba, Sevilla, Tarifa, Caños de Meca, Marbella,

Madrid, along with various cities around Spain.

His sessions are mainly based on house and tech-
house but in 2009 he rediscovers his passion for deep

music and starts exploring with darker sounds and

slower speeds.

This is where his Chic ́n ́deep sessions were born, full

of depth, slowing down to even 120 BPM.

The artists that are truly getting his attention in 2015 are

Please meet Ricardo Vincenzo, your shaman from Sao Paolo for the next hour in the next Urban Cosmonaut Radio podcast #24.

But he’s not just a shaman - he’s also an avid collector of samples and an audio collage enthusiast with exquisite taste in forgotten old songs and Brazilian tropicalia infused music. In a melange of leftover samples, organic shamanic sounds and spiritual tunes, we are immersed in sounds and spheres unique to him. 

Having learned the piano as a kid, Ricardo had been making experimental music for a few years before starting his solo project, which he describes as having more dance floor friendly elements. His productions are inflenced by funk carioca music, which also produced as live sets with samples, repetitive phases and vocal percussions. 

Like a chef creating a culinary experience, we’re hungry to discover the sound scapes he has cooked for us and say: Bom apetite!

Was sollen wir über Martin schreiben?!? Späk dessen richtiger Vorname Martin ist, hatte uns vor einiger Zeit angefragt ob er nicht -  naja,vielleicht, wäre schön mal ein Set anfertigen könnte. 
Kurzer Hand haben wir uns die Zeit genommen um uns seine Set´s anzuhören und siehe da, wir waren hin und weg. Stilistisch gehen seine Set´s von Downtempo über World, Oriental bis hin zu Sloth Musik.
Der wohnhafte Wiener ist auch mit seiner Crew "heimlich" im Umland von Wien sehr umtriebig. Sie veranstalten auch kleine Event die unter anderem "heimlich im Wald" heißen und sehr verträumt aussehen. Hier kommt die nächste musikalische Unterstützung für d&s aus Österreich, um genauer zu sagen aus Wien.
In Wien hat sich vor einiger Zeit ein kleines Kollektiv zusammengefunden, welches sich zu Herzen genommen hat die Stadt musikalisch ein wenig bunter zu gestalten.
Bei den monatlich stattfindenden Events, mit stetig wechselndem und hochkarätigem Booking, geht die akustische Reise geht oft um die ganze Welt.
Heimlich heißt das Wiener Projekt, welches aus 10 Freunden besteht. 
Einer davon hat uns diesen wunderbaren Podcast bereitet und zeigt uns nun seine Interpretation von deep & smooth.
Die Rede ist von Späk und der führt uns diesmal weit hinaus ohne dabei pompös oder gar aufdringlich zu wirken. 

Zum weiteren Heimlich-Artist-Stamm zählen Oberst & Buchner, Oliver Rottmann und leschueft. 
Weiterhin haben die Jungs und das Mädel von Heimlich eine gleichnamige Podcastreihe auf Soundcloud ins Leben gerufen, welche bis jetzt grossen Anklang gefunden hat.
