A year on from 'Fernweh', Laux is releasing two split remix EPs that give the album a complete re-imagining. There are edits from the likes of Steve Rachmad, Ray Kajioka and one Marcel Dettmann.

Dettmann is arguably one of the finest techno DJs on the planet and if he's not rinsing the Berghain sound-system, he's touring non-stop and running things at his stellar MDR imprint. 

For his edit he's served up a fierce, menacing and calculated track, one that uses monstrous kicks, demonic synths and driving hi-hats.

Deep Space Helsinki - 24th January 2017

Grounded podcast number 90 welcomes spanish DJ, 'LoKKoTRONN' who has been residing in New York City since the early 2000's. During his time there he struck up a bond with Jason T, who make up the dynamic 'Dos Lokos' duo. 

Together in 2011, they established the acclaimed Erratic emblem, curating exclusive techno events and running their own podcast series which has seen plenty of our favourite artists appear as guests over the 150+ episodes that have spanned across the last 6 years. 

Since its inception, Nico has been constantly refining and expanding his techno palette rendering the genre inextricable from his way of life and sensibility towards the arts and electronic music as a whole. His style when behind the decks can be characterised as a blend between melodic, acid bass lines layered with poignant, driving rhythms that penetrate equally the mind as they do the body. This mix is titled 'Medulla Oblongata'.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jac J was first inspired by house music in his early teens. His love for techno music began in the 90's, at a time when dance music and nightclub culture ran rampant throughout New York City.
As his love for dance music grew he shortly thereafter took up DJing as a hobby to harness his skills, and over the years developed a good ear and crafted his own style.
Jac J takes a fresh and creative approach to music; He integrates various musical elements into his set, for an immersive listening experience.
