🗯🗯 What are you missing the most since March 2020? 🗯🗯

I miss to play in front of people, to see the reaction from the audience and exchange looks and smiles. It's about sharing emotions, feelings and moments. I also miss the feeling of being in a club, to be in the crowd and to feel the energy on the dance floor. I miss that feeling you get when you go to a club, you get a natural high. I miss those peaks of the emotional highs that we get from dancing. The exitement you get from dancing surrounded by many people and listening to music at a loud volume. you get an amazing emotional release. I miss dancing and communicating with my friends and even people I don’t know. I miss techno..

🗯🗯 How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration? 🗯🗯

Well, for this mix, my main inspiration was to imagine people dancing during listening to the mix. I also danced on my own recording it :). I also thought what the nightclubs has offered and will still offer to everyone: hedonism, the possibility to live out their identity or their desires freely, less anarchy, more love and forget the time :) … The mix is divided in many style; from trippy and floating techno to something harder and galloping. I had fun recording it in my studio and I hope people will feel the same feeling when they listen to it. We need to dance!

In the 89th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Ma Haiping 

Ma Haiping is one of the most influential Techno musicians in China.
His music are favored by Jeff Mills, and he released the album "Chang'e-4 " on the legendary label Axis Records. His music style combines Detroit tradition with sci-fi/Hypnotic Techno, a futuristic weapon designed for the dance floor. Before this, in 2013, he released the EP “The Chinese Connection ” on Scan 7‘s label Cratesavers International, which made him the first Chinese producer to release Techno in Detroit. In 2015, he released the EP "Crepuscular Rays" on Orlando Voorn's label Nightvision. In 2022 to 2023 Molecular Recordings and Seclusion have released the EP "XX 8" “Collapse” and "Invincible EP " respectively. His music has been played by Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Ken Ishii, DVS 1, Rødhåd, Kr! z, Rene Wise, Setaoc Mass, 
He has performed on the same stage with dozens of international artists such as Juan Atkins, Robert Hood, Surgeon, and Oscar Mulero.
