With every Full Moon or solar eclips I will present a new artist which I highly admire, respect and who empowers and understands the dark, ambient and emotional side of techno.⁠

The Full Moon is a time of blossom and highlights.⁠
The Full Moon equals the spiritual and energetic culmination. ⁠
When the Full Moon has passed, the waning moon phase begins. ⁠
This is the time to let go what no longer serves you. ⁠

During today's Full Moon, also called the 'Pink Moon', you'll feel the need to go deep. This has everything to do with the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio is the zodiac sign that is not afraid to go into the dark. This sign asks you to turn inward and make room for depth. It does not like superficiality or putting on a mask. Scorpio wants the bottom line, even if the truth hurts.⁠

In addition, Scorpio is the sign of transformation. Like no other, this sign is capable of transforming itself into something new, something better. Scorpio likes to think about ways in which it can transform itself. This stems from an underlying need for power, but also for depth. And to achieve that, Scorpio likes to take a (deliberate) risk. Fernie travels through his self-made solar system, each planet a different sonic horizon - one pulses with tribalistic rhythms wrapped in mystical atmopsheres, another breathes with organic tones like growing roots and humming birds. On every world, he gathers mind-altering tones like stardust. By the time he returns to his sun, he has composed a universe.

Originating from Glasgow Fernie has a longstanding association with the local Scottish scene having been involved and actively running events since the early 2000’s. Most recently he has been continuing to shape and grow his sound design both through production and live DJ performances. He also acts as podcast curator for respected Norwegian techno platform Monument and has releases spanning across a myriad of labels including KVLTO, BAHN and Informa. Apart from that you may know him as the mind behind Space Textures which acts as an outlet for high-quality atmospheric deep techno.

Fernie takes us on a two-hour expedition where we hear him blend deep electronics with hazy atmospheres, brain-attracting psychedelics and extraterrestrial organics, staying true to his origins in space texture while venturing into a whole new set of cosmic ecosystems.

"Broken Code" ist ein akustischer Abstieg in eine dystopische Cyberpunk-Landschaft. Das Album ist ein unerbittlicher Strom aus pulsierenden Sub-Bässen, fragmentierten Synth-Texturen und kargen, mechanischen Rhythmen. Eine wiederkehrende, glitchige Frauenstimme flüstert und stottert als korruptes Datensignal Schlüsselphrasen, die die Themen von Identität und Fehlfunktion in einer zerfallenden digitalen Welt erkunden. Jeder Track ist ein kaputtes Segment, das durch die unheilvolle Geräuschkulisse von Gewitter und statischem Rauschen verbunden wird. Ein Soundtrack für den "Geist in der Maschine", der sich von den Überresten einer verlorenen Realität ernährt.

It’s time for the 33rd upload already. This podcast is recorded by another DJ/producer from Sweden, but that should be no surprise. Efraim Kent is not a producer that releases many records. We got introduced to his music through a couple of tracks he released with Dorisburg on Tikita. The Moroccan label might be one of the most refreshing upcoming labels if you ask us.
