There’s beauty in the art of teasing. To build the groove of a night slowly and piece by piece is a commonplace ideal, but not many are willing to sacrifice the early moments of gratification for a potentially more rewarding experience. Enter Garçon: The Basel-based music afficcionado has steadily built his reputation as an expert in mood modulation. Combining hypnotic grooves from all corners of electronic music, he’s crafted a style firmly rooted in techno, with a singular affinity for the rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. An original resident of (now defunct) Basel institution Hinterhof, Garçon – in cooperation with ally Agonis – continues developing the Amenthia imprint’s unique sonic identity at Elysia, taking full advantage of the utilitarian space.

Adhémar (@adhemarmusic) is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJset, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

Loradeniz is the multidisciplinary music and art project of Deniz Omeroglu, an Istanbul native now based in Amsterdam since 2017. Her mystical soundscapes feature processed vocals, deep-layered melodies, and compelling percussions. She blends her knowledge of instruments and music theory into her productions and DJ sets, creating versatile atmospheres with energetic drums, hypnotic rhythms, and rich melodies. Since 2020, she has held a residency at Radio TNP and has been running the B2B mixtape series “The Ottoman Export,” which continues its journey on RRFM since 2024. Alongside her independent releases since 2015, Deniz collaborated with Interstellar Funk on an LP in 2023, released a solo film score on Nous’klaer in 2024, and contributed to numerous VA releases in recent years.

DSS 092 is one that has been brewing for a long time. We finally got our hands on a Kuba'97 masterclass.

Ever in search of the trance dance experience, Kuba '97 turns crowds into tribes with deep hypnotic sounds. Energy flows in and out of bodies, with frequencies encouraging introspection and a communal sense on the dance floor.

The trance dance experience is characterised by the sounds of contemporary psychedelics and '90s tribal techno. Never ending spiralling grooves framed by dreamy shamanic chimes.

About his set, Kobe tells us:
“Music spanning over five decades and gathered in one. This podcast is dedicated to a number of people and places that I’ve had the chance to connect with over the years. It ranges from ‘70 Japanese library recordings to contemporary deep techno cuts all adding to the spirit of Deep Space Series. The first conversations about this podcast started over two years ago and slowly the idea began to take shape. Just like the process, the recording is far from rushed and grows step by step.“
