About Matthias Springer [Germany]:

Matthias Springer (aka Aksutique / aka MFS) is involved in the electronic music scene since the late 1990’s, always very versatile in choosing the sound he likes and plays. He feels comfotable in a lot of very different genres, from experimental electronica, to deep house and dub techno, always with the influence of acid and Detroit elements. Matthias released a lot of great tunes during the past years on labels such as Parquet, Bulletdodge, Eintakt, TicTacToe, Etui, Acid Worx, Hypnotic Room, Diametric, Deeptakt, Dreiton and then some ... In 2010 he started his own imprint Diametral Records with the Dub Techno sublabel DimbiDeep Music, followed by zerO413 and the vinyl only label Turmfalke for releasing interesting coops projects with some friendly artists around.

SPACE VIEWX [#81] Matthias Springer [Germany, Dub Techno]

Bogged down in a pile of archival documents and adstracts from alchemical synopses, Spacelunch fell asleep unnoticed. Concentrated reading dragged him into the world of dreams which, as usual, was at his favorite desk. However, someone didn't want to stop there.

Naively inspired by the legend of homunculi, Cat decided to personally assess the activity of neurotransmitters in the ionized gas environment. The old experiments of their parasientific cooperation on the influence of information fields on the cerebral hemispheres were considered incomplete. Isn't this a reason for new experiments on the mental platform? As soon as the trial sample was subjected to intense exposure of the plasmaballs, tightly clamped in restless paws, there was a resounding click.

By chance, the professor's dream turned out to be less sensitive than it might seem at first glance. Jumping up after a piercing "meow", he felt the sharp smell of electrified wool: "Hey, buddy, are you okay?! Please be careful with the Tesla radiation!"

We have some very exciting news to share with you. Greyscale is launching a new series for its label and its named the Exposure Series! Marco Cassanelli is the first artist and his track 'Camden Town' has a pure classic dub techno sound to it. Long delayed chords lull you into a peaceful mid-set trance while the beat is sure to move your body. Sibling's 'Valhalla' rises from the depths with a fantastic bassline and metallic spheres drenched in echo. A heady and busy track that really makes you take notice. On the second side is 'Evolution' by Federsen and it has a more traditional dub approach. The groove is addictive here. Sounds dip and swell in a master class of subliminalism. Genning's 'Q.3' closes out the first Exposure Series EP with a more modern approach. Pure floorfiller here! A beam of intense light drew the professor's attention to the hypno-spiral, which had become his first goal in studying astronomical objects of the "Quasar" class. However, everyone has their own desires. Cat, for example, tried to comprehend passionarity and look at the reflection of what was happening. The genre scenes that unfolded before the eyes of the experimenters went beyond the 3d dimension. Bubble pattern, cold draft, rusted house, wet format – they seemed to be on the verge of insanity.

Although in the past the Spacelunch studied at the Department of Experimental Phonetics and Speech Synthesis, the adaptation of consciousness was still difficult. The answers to the inner questions turned into a swarm of sound isotopes. Space was shifting, going deep, rotating and stretching in all possible directions, reducing all efforts to concentrate almost to zero. No wonder, because music is not just a technical object, but an ideological principle. The delta dimension, which is full of spectral lines, is clearly not the place for a logical routine with complex calculations - the auditory stream expresses something more, just trust the sensations.
