Die Vögel pfeifen es bereits von den Dächern … JA JA JA der Frühling ist da. Deswegen haben wir auch wieder einen besonderen Künstler für euch ausgesucht … dieser „kapuzentragender Nachtvogel“ (Wikipedia) ist do.do und ein festes Mitglied der allseits sehr beliebten „laut und luise“ Bande aus Köln.

Seine verspielten Vogel-Sets wie der Dauerwellensittich oder das Rotkamelchen verzaubern uns schon seit langem und natürlich das umwerfend zeitlose Set für die elektroaktivisten Crew … eines dieser Sets die einfach immer passen. 

Und nun hat er diesen unglaublich schönen Podcast für uns gezaubert … danke Dominic für die tolle Zusammenarbeit es war uns eine wahre Freude.

NAUSIKKE Josep Maria Martínez was born in Barcelona on 10 June of 1992. Since he was a child he is a big passionate of electronic music. Addicted to dance radio and TV shows, spent the most of his childhood surrounded by original and recorded cassettes. When he was young studied some stuff about music engineering and acoustics. His passion around electronic music increased with the years and he decided to start his knowledge about music producing. Was then when he discovered one of his bigger hobbies, music producing. He started to train and take more lessons about the topic and little by little got improving his technique. Nowadays he is releasing his tracks and getting known. He is able to produce different kind of music: melodic techno, hard techno, tech house, prog house, and many more. In the future he wants to learn more and more about this field and continue growing as producer and DJ.

"I always try to innovate and - as much as I can - create music with a lot of essence, colour, love, and soul," says Spain's Nausikke. And he has certainly done just that on the techno double-single Folklore / Rain Down, his debut release on Play Records.

A mix of melodic and underground techno, Folklore and Rain Down include some unusual creative elements, such as castanets and environmental ambiance, that balance their dark synth arpeggios with a fresh, cascading lightness.

Inspired by the likes of Giorgia Angiuli and David August, Nausikke has created perfect music for a late night lounge, a chill afternoon DJ set, or the soundtrack of a Denis Villeneuve film.
