Jittering layers of bass, intricately intertwined endless loops of harmony, monumental drum rolls and drops that sent compelling power strikes across the dancefloor as if some kind of sonic lightning strikes. Add-us do their thing - that thing that made the duo from Stuttgart a sure-fire success: Melodic Techno of the highest order. The trancy synthesisers of Escape provide exactly what this title stands for, namely an instant escape from the grey gravity of everyday life. The twilight atmosphere of this tune clearly aims at the most active hours of a party. So does Hurricane, yet another aptly named track. Or, rather: An aptly named sound vortex. The rotating energy of this tune draws us towards the climax of a party once again. However, here the vibe imitates the intangible, yet absolutely compelling energy of the element air.

Zitternde Bassmassen, in sich selbst verschränkte Endlosschleifen synthetischer Harmonien, haushohe Trommelwirbel und Drops, deren Spannungsspitzen uns erwischen wie Blitzschlag. Add-us servieren uns genau das, wofür wir das Duo aus Stuttgart lieben - Melodisch programmierter Techno vom Feinsten. Escape bietet mit seinen trancigen Synthie-Akkorden genau das, was der Titel andeutet: Eine sofortige Flucht aus dem Grau des Alltags. Atmosphärisch im Dämmerlicht gehalten zielt der Track eindeutig auf die aktivsten Stunden einer Tanzvergnügung. So auch Hurricane, ein rotierender Sound-Strudel, der in die gleiche Richtung zielt, dabei aber die nicht greifbare und trotzdem überdeutlich spürbare Energie einer luftigen Naturgewalt imitiert.

2025 is full of debuts for many artists on Vapour Recordings and this time welcome none other than Serbias finest in Hobin Rude.

Hobin is a man on the rise at the moment having taken out the award for best regional DJ of the year in 2023. He is also host of the Progressive Tales podcast series by one of our favourite crews Progresivna Suza who do so much good coverage for our scene.

Based in Belgrade Serbia, Hobin has quite an expanse discography to his name with releases on labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, PlattenBank and now we welcome him for his debut EP on Vapour Recordings.

Hobin delivers two wonderful tunes with Beyond the Empty Air and In the Still of Absence. Both are signature sounds of Hobin's deep driving and hypnotic treasures that he always delivers.

On remix duties for 'In the Still of Absence' we have label boss Kasey Taylor who teams up with Italian Maestro and legend - Gai Barone.

These two take on a a dreamy but tougher approach with a little added touch of a 303 retro vibe. I mean, who doesn't like a 303 right?
