Princeton Rejects is a moniker for multi-platinum VMA award winning dance producer Ian Carey. Under the name Princeton Rejects Ian journeys outside of the commercial realm and revisits the underground in which he came up musically. Having first been exposed to house music in the mid 1990's at Baltimore's legendary club The Paradox and NYC's The Shelter, Ian would hear DJ's such as Tony Humphries, Timmy Regisford, LIttle Louie Vega, Danny Krivit, and The Basement Boys which have influenced his own music deeply. Ian will be using the moniker as an outlet for all things deep and intelligent, a journey outside of the proverbial box. Having been obsessed with Ivy League schools and their corresponding secret societies at a young age, Ian chose the name as a reference to his own application to Princeton University being denied. He then settled for a lesser caliber University of Maryland from which he dropped out after 3 semesters to pursue his music career. Along with his aptly named, newly imprinted Liberated Records, Ian is looking forward to an outlet for releasing pure music without the interference of major label A&R's and the pressures of commercial viability.

Princeton Rejects - Be With You [PRE-PREVIEW SNIPPET]

Italian artist Lost in Nirāi is up next releasing an EP on Diynamic. His four tracker „A Day of Sun“ also contains two features with Nigeria-born, Ireland-based vocalist Wisdom.

Opening track „God is the Reason“ is a deep but dreamy melodic house anthem that features the contemplative words of Wisdom and a beautiful children’s choir, made for eyes-closed and arms-up moments on the next music festival.

„Need Your Love“, also featuring Wisdom on vocals, is a more dramatic, but still hopeful piece. Driving percussions and the almost hypnotic chants are sure to make you move.

Title track „A Day of Sun“ is a more sombre affair, with elegiac string arrangements and serene arpeggios, building up to a piano break where time almost stands still.

And finally „Time Machine“, a punchy peak time Indie Dance track that keeps on building and adding new elements with finesse. Here the hero of the story manages to escape the collapsing structure and outrun their pursuers, with the treasure safely in their hands.

'Reshi' is the name of the EP, consisting on three original tracks plus a fantastic remix by lebanese Deep House heavyweight Soire. Expect intimate harmonies, dub chords, lush guitars and a real Deep House vibe. Hope you like it!

MRAK, the solo project from Carmine Conte (one half of renowned duo Tale Of Us) has released his brand new EP, ‘Manifesto’.
The collection comprises two tracks, ‘Manifesto', and ‘Equilibrium’. Both tracks have been played out recently at Tale Of Us’ live shows, including at their acclaimed Coachella performance earlier this year.
