BRODI - Tensions

War destroys everything music stands for. It locks doors and creates barriers where should only be freedom and unity. It breaks our heart to know that our Ukrainian friend Cuprite is out there every day, defending his hometown. He told us he produced these tracks during this war - and we are relieved he's finding in music a way to get his mind out of this situation.

'Twins' comes as an energetic dream of a packed club, dancing to the sound of the finest Indie Dance. Its main characteristics are a strong bassline and dystopic short leads.

The B-side 'Kali' is a collab with Colombian duo River Red, which comes as a trancier approach to the genre. Despite this, the artists kept the focus on delivering a club track. They've achieved their goal - 'Kali' is strongly led by a rolling bass and well rhythmed percussive elements.

PREMIERE: Skyline Systems - Relayed Frame

This one’s an indie-electro inspired house jam I recorded live in my studio in June or July. The drums are a combination of TR8-S and some samples from the Pioneer DJ SP-16 & Novation Circuit. The lead synth groove is from the Studiologic Sledge, bass is taken care of by the Roland/Studio Electronics SE-02 boutique synth thru a TC Electronic Hall Of Fame reverb pedal, some flavor from the Roland SH-01a boutique running thru a Line6 FM4 filter modeler, acidic flair from the Behringer TD-3 303 clone and Seymour-Duncan Deja-Vu delay pedal, chords from the Korg Opsix, all running audio into a Mackie 22 channel mixer… everything besides the drum grooves were programmed on the Pioneer DJ Squid sequencer via midi thru box sending clock and note data… I only have two hands so some things drag on and that’s the nature of these live dawless recordings. Everything was recorded as a 2 track stereo audio signal into Ableton and the ran thru Izotope RX to take out some of the mixer noise that was overwhelming when the track was boosted.

Talented Ukrainian Cherry (UA) makes his debut on Timeless Moment with a splendid three track EP in Ruba, Come To Me and Jumanji. 

‘Ruba’ , the first track of the EP,  is a perfect dance floor weapon mixing Progressive stabs with solid house grooves and dark melodies.  The powerful drop of Ruba conquered many sets of the great SOLOMUN as he has been playing this track live in massive festivals and clubs such as TomorrowLand, Circo Loco and Pacha Ibiza. 

The second track of the EP is ‘Come to me” a classic progressive house track with hypnotic arpeggios, lush atmospheres and an amazing bass line.  A complex percussion work and atmospheric vocals add the extra cherry on top of the cake.  

And to end this amazing EP we have the massive afro grooves of ‘Jumanji’. This track throws the audience directly in the ‘Jungle’ with some of the most amazing tribal percussions you will hear this year. Massive drums get together with atmospheric melodies in perfect harmony, closing up the whole package in timeless fashion.

Ukrainian talent Cherry (UA) lands on Siona Records with three of his rugged techno-disco cuts. They have previously landed on the likes Disco Halal and once again here shoot you into outer space.

Mantra is a dazzling opener with sci-fi chords extending out to the heavens. It's the sort of track that will get hands in the air and lock the crowd in a groove. Himera then opens up with more scintillating synth designs, which are layered over sleek drums and make for a nice expansive atmosphere. Pifia then has a more dark and late night energy, with charging hits and exotic leads that are worldy and majestic.

This is another on point EP from Cherry (UA).
