Building on Darlyn and Damon’s consistent output, ‘Generation’ instantly hits the imagination with its emotional drive and bring sweeping synths and analogue warmth. It’s backed by two instrumental originals from the French based duo; the moody, dramatic ‘Black Sand’ and the cosmic, strident star-gazing struts of ‘Afterglow’.

Complete with a special Italo version of ‘Generation’, only available to the Bandcamp faithful, this is a beautiful way to launch an exciting new label. Expect more Polaris platters very soon..

Bari-based talent Fedele’s Obscura Music label continues to go from strength to strength as a pioneering platform for avant-garde techno music with a leftfield twist. Following a string of poignant releases earlier in the year, the label returns in November with a generous serving of its undeniably unique sound palate provided by a carefully handpicked selection of celebrated electronic names.

Heading the bill, label boss Fedele is joined by a worthy cast of adversaries, including Damon Jee, Stephan Barnem, Works of Intent, Odd Oswald, VNTM, Rez Dorsia, Golden Virgo, Emitr, Juanito State, and Dustin Holtsberry.

Spanning thirteen tracks, The Sound Of Obscura takes you on a spirited journey through a myriad of different genre-loosened vibes. Whether it’s the marauding grittiness ‘Starfield’, the resonant darkness of ‘Healing’ or Works Of Intent’s ‘Limitless Leisure’ that spins you full of synth-rich electro-laced vocal goodness, the collectively pleasant lean away from mainstream techno and focus on sonic storytelling delivers a firm reminder of Fedele’s appeal and his artistic vision for Obscura.

Nestled between a freshly-squeezed Fedele cut, you’ll find a library of different tales. From the afro-infused glitchiness of Rez Dorsia’s ‘Ultra Lux’ right through to the pounding warehouse persona of Golden Virgo’s ‘Canadian Swinger’, it’s a celebration of everything compilations should be variety, creativity, boldness and energy, all wrapped up in an artistically digestible ball for you to enjoy on the dancefloor or the comfort of your own home.

Renowned German DJ and producer Solee is set to release his 8th artist album named "Goldglut". The album, whose title poetically translates to "golden glow," captures the ephemeral moment just after sunrise, when the sun’s first rays paint the edge of the morning clouds with a radiant hue. This imagery, evoking both warmth and subtle intensity, mirrors the rich atmosphere of Solee´s music. The 21 tracks on Goldglut represent the culmination of Solee´s artistic work over the last two years, a period of deep reflection and exploration. And there are a few little surprises on the album, such as unreleased versions like the Turmbühne mix of "Luft", which Solee produced especially for his Fusion Turmbühne opening set. But also new unreleased edits of "Tanz der Planeten", "Somnia", "Faith Healer" or a special intro version of his classic "Shanti". Each track carries his distinct style, weaving elements of deep melodic house & techno, progressive house, trance and ambient soundscapes into a cohesive and compelling journey. "Goldglut" stands as a testament to Solees continued evolution as an artist and his ability to touch listeners with music that is both ethereal and grounding. Embark on a journey and get lost.

AEON is a label that’s really in a rich vein of form. Following on from the success of Jenia Tarsol’s recent ‘Strom’ EP, which found it’s way into a myriad of tastemakers boxes, they welcome French man of the moment, Darlyn Vlys for a stunning EP.
The title track Traca y Pólvora is a powerful, melodic masterpiece. A driving, dynamic groove underpins an irresistible bass line anointed with, vocodered vocal snippets and huge emotional pads for an almost trancelike euphoric journey. Serpentine is similarly exciting, but darker in it’s approach. A relentless bass line is main feature here, with a broken beat just adding to the drama and sinister vocals complete the vibe with devastating effect.
Remix duties are fulfilled by Cooper Saver, with his first outing on the label, and label stalwarts Speaking Minds and Amarcord. Cooper Saver has been in fine form of late. His recent release, 'The Search' on Permanent Vacation was huge and is still being hammered in the clubs. Here he takes on Traca y Pólvora with a stunning remix. A slightly lighter take on the original with an easy groove and a moving bass line that makes this the perfect end of the night track.  Meanwhile, Speaking Minds and Amarcord take on Serpentine for their ‘Club Tool Mix’. Their approach is a dark affair, with linear moody elements throughout which takes the track into peak time ‘strobe and smoke’ territory.
A powerful and impressive package throughout here and yet another stamp of quality from a fine label. File this under Big Room Moments!

You may already know this one… We lock-in the first reload of our burgeoning story so far with a return to Darlyn Vlys's 'Wuzu'. Previously featured on the second V/A 'Muy Duro' EP, it's loaded with an instantly recognisable desert-bound vocal, a warm undulating bassline and that perfect balance between space and tribal intensity. And now it's loaded with a new original and remixes, too…

'Arrival' is brand new material from the rising Spanish artist. Perfect for big entrances and mix intros, once again Vlys has nailed that balance between the space aged and tribal with its staccato voodoo voices and purring, velvet machine prowess.

Remix-wise Disco Sentimento founder Tyu strips back 'Wuzu' for a woozy percussive twist while Modular Project add a whole new layer of bassline space dust to their remix of 'Arrival'. Both complement Vlys's originals, his hip-slinking hypnotic signature and the label's ever-flourishing remit perfectly.

We expect we'll hear more from Darlyn on Duro very very soon ...
