On side A, we can hear the main track, “Sakura”, a very elegant minimal with a bassline full of energy and movement accompanied by a full-bodied kick, stabs full of dynamite and some pads that take you straight to the sky.

As side B, “Meet Of Fate”, with a deeper bassline, this time accompanied by a very crunchy groove, beautiful melodies and amazing automations that make you feel like you are continually going up and down under the general vibe of the track.

Ultimately, there couldn't be a better presentation for the label than this great launch from these two great London-based producers.

After a couple of single track releases on our compilations, US based DJ/producer Movesayer is back with his own EP: Regenerate.
He proves us again, to be a master of emotional storytelling techno and takes us on a wonderful trip to a heaven full of melodies! This release contains two great originals and two strong remixes, produced by David Di Sabato and Frezel.

Here is the groovy remix by David Di Sabato. The original is reborn into an uplifting and funky track.
The original horn sound is unaffected but supplemented by a catchy plucked melody. Once in a while a warm female voice sighs satisfied through the tangle of instruments, which gives this remix an extra positive feeling!

Joël has enjoyed mainstream electronic music from the tender age of 12, but it wasn’t until his brother took him to a festival that he discovered techno. He recalls watching Ame & Egbert playing at the time, being mesmerised by the detail and expression of the music. This first techno experience had him sold.

As with many young electronic music producers Joël is self taught, although he is very grateful to ‘Love Over Entropy’ from whom he learnt a lot within a short frame of time. Taking his inspiration from labels such as Afterlife, Steyoyoke & Awen Records, Joël has carefully crafted his own signature sound, combining complex drum patterns with dark textures and melodies.

His goal is to always tell a story through his tracks, with the aim of them being enjoyed both on & off the dancefloor.

Austrian born Claudio Ricci is no stranger to music with his father leading a South-American folklore band in his native Chile, and his youth filled with musical experiences from various sources. Now residing in Ibiza and co-running the ever excellent Stripped Down Records, Claudio is a well knows figure on the islands music scene and further.

As a producer Claudio has been outputting an amazing variety of EPs and remixes for both Stripped Down, as well as labels such as Compost and Connected.
MMR boss Sasse met Claudio a few years and the 2 clicked immediately, personally and musically. One thing lead to another and the time was ripe to sign Claudio to MMR. Glad we did as we have one of our strongest EPs to date with 2 originals and a stellar remix from none other than Timo Maas.

Deep, yet hypnotic Still Waters Run Deep takes you on a journey with undulating synths, deep bass and the impeccable production skills from Claudio. On the remix tip Timo Maas transforms the song into a filthy dub monster, adding some spooky vocal snippets and acidic touches to the game. Another bomb from Mr Maas.

Til Dawn is a another floor filler, arpeggiated synth work keep nailing the listener to the floor while the sinister bass controls any soundsystem. Another fine production from Claudio, boy are we happy to have him onboard.
