The second release from Astral Records finds the label welcoming Nohak for his debut EP. Based in Lyon, the French artist has been a fresh name in the melodic house and techno world of late. 2020 proved to be Nohak's best year to date, notching releases for Infinite Depth and Somatic Records, while receiving play and support from Tale Of Us and Oostil. Now following an EP for long standing Awen Tales, Nohak makes his much-anticipated Astral debut with 'Diamonds'.

Beginning with the title selection 'Diamonds' sits as a perfect complement with it's symphonic synth driven narrative. Following a gorgeous breakbeat intro the creation shifts into a robust 4/4 section highlighted by haunting vocals and astral sonics. Dramatic yet emotive, the centerpiece gently builds as breathy wails and wispy effects converge for a glowing apex as the beats drop for a commanding finish.

With 'Call Of Universe' Nohak continues to explore the darker narratives for which he has become known for. A tough, machine gun style groove sits at the foundation, while crunchy rhythms and arpeggiated fragments fill in the framework. Both energetic and mysterious, it's flair for the dramatic grows as icy overlays and astral meanderings lead to an expansive break. Spanning well over a minute in length, the storyboard then shifts with emotive chord changes and glowing atmospheres providing a sense of cosmic reflection, before getting washed away into a sea of pulsating grooves and fiery percussion.

It caps off an inspired EP from Nohak, making for a brilliant debut on Astral Records.

Marc Romboy’s Systematic imprint prepares for another milestone release this October with the announcement of Music From Space (Dimension A). The nine-track VA compilation draws inspiration from Marc’s ‘Music From Space’ radio show, featuring exclusive recordings from Hunter / Game, Petar Dundov, Rodriguez Jr. and a host of other electronic music talent.

The German label-founder spoke on what the release embodies, stating: “Music From Space (Dimension A) is the brand new edition of this compilation concept, which you can take literally as it comes. I’m very happy to have collected eight exclusive tracks from the likes of Swedish Lady Molø, our newest signing Pôngo, ex-youngster Rodriguez Jr. and many more besides.”

Original techno luminary Scan X makes his label debut with Stellar Nebula, a late-night creeper that represents extraterrestrial worlds far removed from ours. We’re soon graced with the starry-eyed sounds of Pôngo, whose vocal offering leaves us in a state of reflection on Blind, before Munich mainstay Julian Wassermann transports us to martian territory with The Red Planet. An apt title, it acts as the penultimate track on the VA and sets the tone for the final collaborative effort: Neutron, produced by two electronic music veterans in the form of Oliver Linge and Olaf Pozsgay.

REX GOSKE, the Colombian Producer and DJ, continues experimenting with sounds from different cultures, this time under an atmosphere of traveling through the Middle East. Inspired and protected by faith in angels and archangels, he presents “MIKHAEL”, a sonic tribute to the Archangel Mikhael (eastern name) or Michael (For Spanish speakers), who is known for his strength, courage and leadership. He is often depicted as a warrior, protector, and champion of justice, wielding powers such as invulnerability, super strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate light and fire.

This “track” represents that dominant force over darkness, a mostly instrumental track that contains Arabic chants that turn it into a mystical sound journey, with a lot of power for the dance floor, strong bass and “acid house” lines, supported by percussion and sounds of strings and ethnic winds. It was mixed by REX GOSKE in his Covenant studio and masterfully mastered by the renowned Grammy-winning Colombian engineer: FELIPE LÓPEZ at OndaSelecta Studio.

After his successful recording career in electronic music, signing his previous works with prestigious labels such as: Bias Beach, Sol Selectas, Stellar Fountain, Soundteller, NYLO and Soviett Records, sharing a catalog with renowned international artists; REX GOSKE returns to digital platforms to present "MIKHAEL" under the Serbian record label TIBETANIA RITUALS with whom he had already released the EP “Santa Muerte”.

This release continues to consolidate the producer with a homogeneous and unique sound that grows his catalog with a view to enhancing his projection and international tours in his DJ Set and Live Act format.

Inspirado y protegido bajo la fe en los ángeles y arcángeles, presenta “MIKHAEL”, un tributo sonoro al Arcángel Mikhael (nombre oriental) o Miguel (Para los Hispano hablantes), el cual es conocido por su fuerza, coraje y liderazgo. A menudo se le representa como un guerrero, un protector y un campeón de la justicia, ejerciendo poderes como la invulnerabilidad, la superfuerza, la velocidad y la capacidad de manipular la luz y el fuego.

Este “track” representa esa fuerza dominante sobre la oscuridad, una pista instrumental en su mayoría, que contiene cantos árabes que la convierten en un viaje sonoro místico, con mucho poder para la pista de baile, bajos contundentes y líneas de “acid house”, soportado por percusiones y sonidos de cuerdas y vientos étnicos. Fue mezclado por REX GOSKE en su studio Covenant y masterizado magistralmente por el reconocido  ingeniero colombiano ganador de Grammy: FELIPE LÓPEZ en OndaSelecta Studio.
