These days its almost impossible to find people on the streets who are not constantly tuning in with their smartphones or tablets. Or we see friends sitting around a table who are not actually talking to each other but tapping theirs phones and surfing the web. Jay was inspired by this current problem of the digital era.

Connected drives on Jays distinctive 303 sounds combined with a fat kick and bass-line. While the raw energy creates a throwback of old school Acid Techno it clearly resonates a fresh new school sound.

Ramon Tapia resides in the top tier of the international scene for over a decade already. Recent outlets on Adam Beyer's Truesoul and Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound emphasize his burning actual relevance in the realm of contemporary underground music. His music-making successes get backed with a busy cross-border booking schedule, including regular appearances in Argentina, North-America and Germany.

With 'Backspace', Ramon lands an astonishing techno track that contains a harmonic blend of both melody and fierceness. Raw, rolling bass work sets the pace high from the beginning as the captivating melody intensifies. Subsequently, the uplifting build-up generates intense momentum and eventually collapses into a deep and resolute climax that will leave no soul unmoved.

Opener Ultra is a dark, hard hitting techno cut with heavy drums that power you into the night. Ego is more melodic, with a deft synth riff drifting about above train track grooves, and Andromeda then sucks you in with its hypnotic drums and cosmic, sci-fi melodies and shooting synth stabs. Last of all, Dawn Matter is the most astral of the lot, with smooth drums rolling deep and subtle acid pricks disappearing off to the horizon.

This is a superb EP that shows off Alex Mine’s various vital techno styles.

For our next release we turn to our main man from Naples. Luigi Madonna comes in hot with two fresh and furious tracks of dance floor demolition, and to top it off the big bosses Pan-Pot rework each one resulting in four killer tracks guaranteed to cause a frenzy. 'Enfant Terrible' commences the onslaught as fierce percussion and climactic synths crescendo into a wild array of brilliant sonics before Pan-Pot twist the original elements into their signature four-to-the-floor mayhem of crisp hi hats, massive low end and elating synth lines. For the second cut 'Chaudfontaine', Madonna embraces the acid as wild resonance balances perfectly between call and response antics of vocals and percussion creating an absolute monster of a tune. For this remix Pan-Pot dive deep into the ether and deliver a revision unlike we have heard from them before, taking the intensity of the original and constructing a gorgeous venture into sparkling melodies and shimmering harmonics without ever losing the authenticity of the initial work.
