Bio

Ataxy that is the alter ego of Hamburg based and raised producer David Eßer, who has  been producing different varieties of electronic music for over a decade now.
This Live set is a mix of different tracks produced in 2017/18. He decided to cut out essential fragments, such as "Beats", to develop his own style which he focuses on creating broad soundscapes. Getting absorbed into a pleasant carpet of sound and sort of travelling  trough his music are two of his conceptual cornerstones.
Stretched keynotes seeming to get lost in infinity only cut trough by sharp and rather cold tones creating a complex and dynamic depth of sound. In a metaphorical sense, he wants you to travel trough his music ,reflecting on yourself. It's not about creating something whole new, it's about giving every listener the chance to see her or his own picture of the music.

Bio:

Ambionic (Joe Woodruff) has been an avid collector of all types of music since the early 90's and began mixing electronic music around 12 years ago. Initially influenced by Trance, Psy Trance, House and Techno, he now pursues the deeper and more downtempo sounds of Dub and Ambient.

About the mix:

This mix was inspired by both planet earth and outer space, it also alludes to Felix Baumgartner's parachute jump from the stratosphere which I feel perfectly bridges both these worlds. With Ambient music I prefer deep, melodic, cinematic, emotive and uplifting tracks so you will hopefully find this mix encompasses those sounds!

It deserves a proper place in the Ambient Sessions to get listened again. Darky tunes starts his set and it builds up to clarity in sounds eventually taking it to a slide of dubtechno to the end.

Low End Theorists provided a two hour journey through blissed out ambient, downtempo, synth and shoegaze sounded for Novembers @theory-therapy. New music from Daisart records label's forthcoming Wound Without A Tear compilation – a collection of Australian ambient and experimental music dating from the '90s to late '00s and compiled by Rowan Mason (Sanpo Disco) – Matthew Hayes and Charlie Perry, plus Fred P, Chari Chari and more.
