Essē began his journey in electronic music around the beginning of 2000’s. Experimenting as a Dj he developed an interest for Techno and Minimal. In 2009 the Sardinian artist moved to Milan where he began his career in the world of sound engineering. Essē’s knowledge in music, production and techniques pushed him to start his own electronic musical project. As an artist, he is always looking to refine his technical and creative skills, through a constant research focusing on clear Techno aesthetics, through ambiental and hypnotic sounds with influences from dub and minimal.

He has released music for labels such as Circular Limited, Black Chrysalis Archives and Forevergreen LTD FM & LTD. He also recently joined Astrale AM, an independent agency and collective platform focused on exploring modern hypnotic soundscapes.

BIO

Hypnos is project created in 2011. 
His productions are a reflection of his fascination with spiritualism, hypnotic imagery, shamanism, hypnosis and the way they have entered our lives and become part of our society.
Since 2016 he is involved in performing, organizing and curating, events and parties, part of the Bulgarian Techno scene.
Focusing on making deep, techy and also atmospheric music he has released for labels such as: 
Mahorka, DEAT. CERT. Records, Plazma Records, PLUNK! Recordings, Plusquam Minimal. His works are featured in various compilations such as Music for elevators vol.5 (part 2)" VA (MAHORKA), Amsterdam Dance Event SAMPLER VA, Eastern Depths VA, Cold fiction VA, Urban Arts Berlin VA

About the mix

In this ambient mix I am continuing the concept of the therm “Closed Eye Visualization” Its the 3rd set I recorded under this particular theme.

I chose this name and concept of this mix series as its very connected to the music I make in general.
I used to close my eyes and basically start to visualize the sounds in my head…how they will sit and what emotions and feelings are bringing.
Trough the set I explore the deepens of sounds and music and the spaces it creates for the brain to dream, imagine, visualize.
