About Andrea La Bombarda:

Andrea La Bombarda born in 1987, is an Italian producer from Bari. Since childhood, he cultivated a serious attitude towards electronic music.
From Ambient to Techno in 2010 he graduated by SAE International Institute of Milan with qualifications in technical djing (Analog and Digital).
He is inspired by a blend of sounds heard in dark minimalist techno whose melody gives way to repetition.
Andrea has been making live set/tracks with samples of ambient sounds modified by software in order to give a custom imprint to his work.

BIO:
Spacedrome is a small collective of young DJs and producers formed by chance in Rome in April 2012.
Fours friends; each from a different Italian city, met in the small clubs of the capital and found that they all had a common passion: the low frequencies. Combining their individual musical experiences Spacedrome was born; an evolving collective whose mission was to spread their new sound across the world.
The fours are attempting to create a space in which to gather the followers of bass music to discover the hidden nuances of the "deep side".
As the name itself suggests; Spacedrome is a collective open to all fans of the genre and they are willing to adopt emerging talents who have no place elsewhere. A passion for music and teamwork are the two ingredients that bring forth so much talent from their members.

Bio:

Alessio Greco is a musician, live performer, producer and DJ. His musical career began in 2001 when he started playing the drums in a punk/hardcore band. After the broke up, he approaches to electronic music and more particularly to ambient and drone. Around the same time he studied electronic music composition at the Music Academy "O. Respighi" in Latina. Over time he approaches to IDM and then to Techno music, falling in love with it. In fact his style is a mix of deep, dark techno and ambient music.

 DJ、プロデューサー、サウンドエンジニア。パートナーのGianluca MeloniとともにModernheadsとしても活動。ドイツ、ミュンヘンのレーベル『Prologue』の第一弾リリース、彼のソロデビューEP「No Name』はDebug誌をはじめ、世界中の音楽誌から熱狂的な評価を受ける。またDonato Dozzyとの共作『In Vaders』は、有名DJたちのチャートや、プレイリストに加わることになった。2010年にベルリンのBerghainで開催されたPrologue labelnightでもプレイ、その他Panorama-Bar、Tresor、Suicide Circus、Mikzなどのクラブでも積極的に活動を重ねる。近年、よりアルバムに近い形態をイメージしPrologueよりリリースされた、ダブルEP『Daughter of Phorsys』は、ヒプノティックなシーケンスによりインダストリアルなノイズを加味したダークなテクノと斬新な音の響きを模索、融合。ベルリンにある彼のスタジオで作成され、Resident AdvisorやBeatport、Fact magazineなどのメディアからも注目を集めた。2012年にはPrologueより自身の新たなアプローチを提示したアルバム『Shaman’s Paths』をリリース。近年はさらに自身のサウンドを追求し、2014年度の来日ではテクノとトリップホップが融合されたライブセットを披露している。2011年の初来日以来、本物のテクノを追い求めるリスナーから熱狂的な支持を得ている。

-こちらのミックスはどちらで収録したものですか？

ローマにある自分のスタジオでライブ録音しました。


-このミックスの使用機材を教えてください。

1918年の蓄音機2台。:-) もちろん冗談。でもちょっと説明が難しいんだよね、、。
自分のスタジオでミックスを作る時はラップトップとコントローラーを使っていて、コントローラーは個人的にMIDIの方が違うサウンドソースをコントロールしやすいと思ってるから、MIDIboxのコアに基づいて自分で作ったものを使っているんだ。スタジオではそれでRMEのコンバーターのチャンネルをコントロールして、ミキサーとして使ってる。そうすればヴァイナル、CD、シンセ、ドラムマシーン、その他プレイ中に頭に浮かんだもの全てをリアルタイムで使えるから。8チャンネルのミキサーと同じコンセプトだよ。8種類のオーディオインプットをミックスしてマスターチャンネルを全て録音してあるDATテープに割り当てたよ。


-コンセプトを教えてください。

最初はアンビエントのミックスを作ろうと思ってたんだけど、なんか途中でテクノ、トライバルな気分になって最終的にテクノに走ったね。正直最初のプランからは外れたけど、瞬間的に突き動かされたって感じかな。


-最近の活動を教えてください。

自分のレーベル〈Outis Music〉と、Modern Headsの新しいライブセット、あと次の大きなプロジェクトのリリースを控えていて、リリース後のライブ／ヴィジュアルショーにも取り組んでる。あと実は新しい音楽プロダクションにも参加しているんだ。テクノとは限らない、、、とりあえず〈Outis Music〉のウェブサイトで随時情報を更新していくよ。 ;-)

Just recently THNTS has discovered electronic music, before he was mostly interested in Hardcore, Black- and Doom-metal. 
A record collector and enthusiast he especially appreciated the created atmosphere. Soon he began to find the similarities in atmosphere and sound also in experimental kinds of techno.His DJ-sets resemble this development: sometimes driving, sometimes dreamy, but always telling a tale. 
After 1,5 years of involvement in the apathy crew he was a founding member of the new project ESCH which was born in the beginning of 2016.

Just recently THNTS has discovered electronic music, before he was mostly interested in Hardcore, Black- and Doom-metal. A record collector and enthusiast he especially appreciated the created atmosphere. Soon he began to find the similarities in atmosphere and sound also in experimental kinds of techno. His DJ-sets resemble this development: sometimes driving, sometimes dreamy, but always telling a tale. 

After 1,5 years of involvement in the apathy crew he was a founding member of the new project ESCH which was born in the beginning of 2016. It is focusing on the challenging and hypnotic interpretations of techno while sticking to the road less traveled and supporting under the radar talents.

The highly influential yet sublimely grounded Ness is the man behind our 35th podcast. This is most definitely another very very special addition to the series so far, and one we couldn't feel more honoured to bring to you. Musically, Ness is considered a front runner for the deep techno genre, moulding an individual sound and personal style straight from the heart - a result of nearly two decades of music exploration and immersion in the form of DJ'ing, sound engineering and through establishing his very own record store in his hometown, Sardinia - with his very first label, Mono Records, following two years later. With an organic evolution in personal interests taking him from DJ'ing alone through to production too, Ness swiftly proceeded to capture the unwavering attention of the international techno community, with releases on the likes of Prologue, Dynamic Reflection, Ear to Ground and of course The Gods Planet, his second label launched in 2010 alongside fellow techno pioneer, Claudio PRC (together known as The Gods Planet). What we love about him the most we hear you ask... the completely addictive, deep, rolling grooves characteristic of his productions aside? His total dedication to keeping it real - allowing his creativity complete freedom to do its thing and inviting appreciators to join him on each phase of his musical journey, illustrated through his most recent LP, Trancemigration, released on The Gods Planet. Claudio is co-founder of The Gods Planet project and related TGP label with Ness and he released mainly his music in labels such as Prologue, Semantica Records and Outis Music.

Svarog combines saturated timbres, landscape textures and ambient shades, sometimes he uses broken rhythms. He is inspired by mountains and architecture.
