“Going down into the valley, everything fell into place. How the audio bounced around the trees, and the visitors almost blended into the nature around them. Playing this set in the morning, just as the sun was rising above the nearby mountains, and the inhabitants of the valley was waking up, was an absolute treat.”

For Our 16th trip around the musical cosmos we welcome to the controls a German artist who we have been a fan of for some time. With Releases on some of the top dub techno labels including , Greyscale, OHM Series and Vuo Records, we are proud to be able to host this mix from Armin Bender.

Armin is an artist who has been involved in the dub techno scene for 30 years, he is a passionate Vinyl collector, DJ and producer. An understated artist who goes about his work in a quiet and professional manner. 

This is summed up in his short but sweet biography - 

"Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... No more words necessary, no history, no credits, no stereotypes, just the music that I love, preferably on vinyl... Peace!"

We thank Armin for his contribution to the series, its another fantastic mix filled some some audible delights including tracks from Dana Ruh, Pablo Bolivar, Matt & Mark Thibideau as well as the beautiful early track by DJ Sandwich on OGE White. Time for another mix by myself: I have reached No. 41 in the frame of my own MLD - Moments of Light & Darkness Mix series what I've started in 2021.
Actually this mix I've created already in May 2024, wasn't sure about it to be honest.   bit more faster tempo compared to the recent sets, more concrete in my view. Starts soft but builds up more physical then. Sure still enough deepness in it I thought, after listening again. That's why I decided to publish it now, to show another side of myself.  Tracklist got lost in the meantime.

Welcome to the 189th Chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. A weekly released podcast that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music.

About Binary Thoughts:

The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.

The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. In order to understand reality in all its complexity we made a world of oppositions (day/night, man/woman). Where the law of "all or nothing rules, there is no in-between. But reality is indeed always more complex and richer than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.

This perception beyond this ìall or nothingî connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to make a project that will connect their slightly different but similar taste in electronic music.

Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colorful nebuale of the universe.

Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving their performance skills, with an aim to create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own.
