While winter announces its arrival through tangibly thick fog and cold blowing breezes, it is time for the next episode of our Circulating Waves series. And what could fit this season-changing vibes better than a flawless mix by Marcella. 

The Ingolstadt-based is a well-known face of the city's nightlife, where she's holding a residency at the local club institution Suxul for more than seven years now. Together with her partner in crime Drew, the talented twenty-something also hosted the event series 'Artefakt' welcoming guests like Answer Code Request, Antigone, Kobosil or Etapp Kyle. Since 2017 she was also part of the MMA (MixedMunichArts) artist family in Munich, where she played alongside numerous Techno heavyweights like Radio Slave, Helena Hauff or Randomer. After the MMA had to close in 2019, she was regularly moving the dancefloor at Blitz Club in Munich.

Marcella perfectly combines fast moving forward Techno with deep, melancholic soundscapes to a ground shaking and mind twisting mix.
Its backbone is a perfectly crafted build-up, starting from the very depths of the vortex, where only particles are floating, to explore deeper, billowing grounds underlaid with mystical atmospheres to finally release some proper hypnotic bombs.

Stigr (Antoine) hails from Angers, a historic town nestled amidst nature in Pays de la Loire region of France. A sound engineer by profession, he has been a well known artist in the region playing at numerous clubs, warehouses, afters and caves in and around France. He has had releases on prominent labels such as @Oslated , @Secuencias_Temporales, @G89Records and @OneInstrument

He is well known for his craft of mixing ethereal sounds and creating dense and warm sessions engulfing the listener. We are really pleased to present a mix by him that features some of his unreleased work.

Bio:

Alessio Greco is an Italian musician, composer and live performer. His musical career began in 2001 when he started playing the drums in a punk/hardcore band. After the broke up, he approaches to electronic music and more particularly to ambient, drone and techno. Around the same time he studied electronic music composition at the Music Academy "O. Respighi" in Latina.

För ungefär ett år sedan kom Samir Yosufi från musikguiden i Sveriges radio och besökte mig, min studio, den väldigt speciella lilla byn Röstånga (där jag bor) och Söderåsens Nationalpark. 
Samir stannade i en vecka för att följa min kreativa process, mitt vardagsliv och fick smaka på diverse spännande överraskningar (de kommer i flock Samir!) 

När Samir frågade ifall han kunde komma bad jag honom lägga både frågorna inför våra intervjuer och förväntningar om den kommande veckan där hemma. Jag önskade bjuda in honom till en vecka där han inte fokuserade på mig, utan sitt eget kreativa flöde genom journalistiken. När jag lyssnar på Samirs program om mig känner jag denna kreativitet och den kärlek Samir känner i sitt utryck som musikförmedlare i en fantastisk public service. 

Att känna närvaro och glädje i sitt livsuttryck är ett fantastiskt sätt att inspirera varandra på.
