Here is the 363rd chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. For a limited time the serie will be released every week till further notice. The serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week Aritomi is making his debut here on the channel.

Bio:
Has started his musical activities as a FM radio DJ in the mid 90's, on a French local radio where he presented new Alternative Rock releases, at first, then gradually Techno and House tracks. The electronic music project Aritomi began when the radio had to close down in the late 90's. Initially, it was a simple experiment with sounds made on a very limited equipment. The style has evolved over the years, from House and Techno at the beginning, to a more minimal blend of Deep, Ambient and Dub Techno, but still quite melodic. Living in Japan since 2000, Aritomi has performed DJ sets at "Echo Chamber" events, Dub Techno parties organised by Tsubasa Arakawa, and released an EP on Zero Signal Records, Altone's label.

Solitary Echoes.

In the void, there was Sound, a lone whisper adrift in the infinite.  
Before light knew its name, before time took form, Sound breathed.  
It vibrated, not to be heard but simply to be—an ancient murmur,  
carrying the weight of a universe yet unborn.

Sound wandered through silent realms,  
caressing the cold dark with its gentle touch,  
yearning for an ear, a voice, a kindred pulse.  
Silence was its shadow, its ever-present ghost,  
a quiet that smothered yet never truly met.

Among the stars, Sound sought resonance,  
but light moved too quickly, too bright,  
leaving Sound alone with its soft, eternal hum,  
a song unheard, a note unheld.

Sound sang on, a single echo in the endless dark,  
hoping that one day, somewhere,  
something would listen, something would reply.  
Until then, it lingered—timeless, patient—  
the first voice of a universe still dreaming.

A mix of intense ambient combined with deep dub and dubtechno layered in lots of atmospheric sounds. Enjoy this special 80th chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast!

Bio:

Emanuele Pertoldi was born in a small village in the North East of Italy. After
releasing music with his own name and founding different projects like Evasion
Room Records (with RIccardo D'Agostini), in 2013 he started a new alias, Shaded
Explorer, with the aim to represent himself in a more intimate way.
The description of the project says: "Shaded Explorer lives in a place where the
music is hidden behind a dense fog and dreams are suffocated by an unpromising
reality. This stimulates him to continue his research of magical places around the
world, being them ethereal landscapes, deep cenotes or blue seas. In those places
he discovered and created new sounds, melodies and rhythms that melted
together create soundscapes for escape."
The first release is an album on Eclipsemusic that was also played live by him (just
with hardware) at Club To Club in Turin, one of the most representative festivals in
Italy. Following this concept in 2014 he founded his own intimate imprint Shaded
Explorations, released the second album on Silent Season and an ep on Kabalion
(Hypnus parent label).
With his projects, he played at Tresor (DE), Le Batofar (FR), The Frag (ITA), Fiese
Remise (DE), Griessmuehle (DE), Tribal (UK), Sala X (SPA), BHo! (ITA), and other
parties, clubs and festivals like Club 2 Club, iClaut, Homepage etc.

This 2h mix is the result of this friendship & this collaboration.
It was our concept for that mix to be builted of 3 chapters : Departure (00:00 - 15:00), Traveling (15:00 - 108:00) & Destination (108:00 - 124:00).
You are more than welcome to take a roller-coaster ride on 'El Tren Fantasma' on this foggy travelogue & let us know the impressions & experience you got.

Hysteria and Steve Duncan are members of Patterns of Perception - a Berlin-based collective that explore the hypnotic depths of techno & electronica. Through regular club nights and a podcast series, they provide a platform for artists to share their unique vision.

This contribution to the Deep Electronics podcast draws inspiration from a storm the Australian duo encountered whilst travelling through the Austrian alps some months ago.

Experiencing moments of meteorological beauty, calm, energy and bleakness amidst the rain and snow, the pair felt compelled to record their visions and emotions, resulting in this mix which was pieced together in months that followed.

About Binary Thoughts:

The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.

The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. In order to understand reality in all its complexity we made a world of oppositions (day/night, man/woman). Where the law of "all or nothing rules, there is no in-between. But reality is indeed always more complex and richer than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.

This perception beyond this ìall or nothingî connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to make a project that will connect their slightly different but similar taste in electronic music.

Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colorful nebuale of the universe.

Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving their performance skills, with an aim to create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own.
