ruđer - alias of musician Ruggero Baracco and previously co-founder / collaborator of Amatori, a music collective based in Berlin and Italy. In love with polyrythms, pitched down techno and atmospheric sounds. At the origin a punk, now devoted to electronic, has released with Amatori 3 EPs (one as the various artist "Die Insel", last year with a solo album "Rerajahan"), most recently in the VA release “Lub~Dub” and the single “SAAL001”.

ARTIST'S BIO:
Medulla Oblongata is a discreet yet emerging Dj who blossoms in his musical biotope between ambient and a mental and hypnotic techno. His techno sets are an invitation to an immersive journey where dancers can forget themselves. We could see him working lately with the Château Perché Festival and their secret and uncompromising side projects and at KALT (Strasbourg, Fr) where he can express himself without boundaries.

With other weirdos he also co-founded the collective TRÊVE gathering artists from different horizons around ambient and visual arts in order to propose dreamlike and contemplative events. His ambient sets become hybridized with tape samples, droning machine loops and synthesizers.

Welcome to a brand new chapter of Deep Electronics. The serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week IPI presents you a mixture of Dubtechno and Ambient music.

About:
IPI was born in 1978 and is a Cologne based DJ and Producer. His interest in music became to grow early and he learned to play several instruments. His parents were huge Rock n Roll fans and he was surrounded by this music all the time. Later he started producing Rap music with some friends and was DJ of a band called "Manyaks". His first contact with electronic music was in 1994 when a friend gave him a tape of Sven Väth. From that moment on Techno and House music became a big part of his life and he started to buy and collect records soon. From 2005 to 2012 he was resident DJ of the " Lustundfreu.de " Parties at the Gewölbe, Cologne. From 2009 until 2015 he managed the Label Lust und Freu.de Musik. As half Argentinian he is drawn to rhythmic and emotional Music as you can hear in his DJ Sets as well as his productions.

First of all, Axymt. is a vinyl collector. His curation mainly oscillate between ambient and deep techno. From Lyon, it’s with passion for hypnotic rhythms and patterns that he creates his sets. Member of several collectives such as Monochrome association, Ouroboros or atmòs sphaîra, Axymt. is well known for his ability to create an
immersive atmosphere during his performances. He always looking for create a ritual for listeners, using his music to guide them on a deep inner journey.
