Stumbling upon an LTJ Bukem mix cd as a teenager, a love for drum ?n bass manifested itself early in Watcher (Arjan van Vliet). After showing much promise as a humble bedroom dj, he set out to make club and radio appearances all over Holland alongside some of the scene?s biggest names, establishing himself as a sought-after opening dj and earning him a Dutch Drum ?n Bass Award nomination in 2007. 

Today Watcher is a seasoned and well-rounded dj who continues to hone his craft and perfect his signature brand of deep, tight and rolling drum ?n bass sets. 

But he also mixed a dark ambient set with ice cold tracks that brings you in a isolation. This mix is highly recommended for headphones!!

NorthernShore is a project about deep journeys into electronic music. Deeply influenced by the kinds of Echospace, Intrusion, DeepChord & Bvdub these journeys are mainly created for home listening and escaping everyday life. NorthernShore mixes focus on Deep Hypnotic Techno but also on the ambient and experimental part of electronic music and try to create the image that the listener walks alone over an empty long Northern shore while hearing the music...

Dynamic UK duo Him_Self_Her are back on the essential Crosstown Rebels with another bumping deep house burner ‘Love You Like I Used To’ once again featuring the distinctive vocal chops of Kieran Fowkes who also appeared on previous Crosstown hit ‘Gone Too Long’ (which spent 11 weeks at the top of the Beatport chart). Featuring a tough and distorted remix from hot property Francesca Lombardo and the driving cosmic force of UK disco darlings Psychemagik on the flip, this is a house track for the peak season of al fresco hands-in-the-air dancefloors.

Claire and Leon aka Him_Self_Her have been producing together since 2012 when they hit it off on a musical level during their formative time on the local house scene in Leicester. All that it took was one studio session to realise the potency of their union and their genre blending productions showcase a range of deep grooves and disco infused techno with a human heart. With their breakthrough release ‘Gone Too Long’ sparking the attention of none other than Pete Tong, he promptly made it his Essential New Tune and support followed from heavyweight DJs such as Jamie Jones. Next releases came on Elite Records and OFF Recordings.

We are happy to share our version of the SNDST BYND Mix. The idea behind SNDST BYND is, to express ourselves a little bit different as usual. Our idea was, to create a sound which goes along with us since we started being DJs until now. We kind of want to give you a little perspective of how we created our sound over the past 7 years and how these Tracks had an influence on our DJ Sets today. So we collected Tracks since 2008, which played a big role on our DJ Journey. Each track is connected with great memories for each of us, either as a DJ or being on the dancefloor as well. In both life and music Roger really encapsulates what Wildwood represents and this really comes across in the podcast. His music has been released on some of the biggest labels around the World  including Gem, Sudbeat, Lost & Found, and Perspectives digital, a real insight into the quality of his work.

The mix Roger has done for us is perfect, an organic and emotive journey with lots of drive and energy to get those feet moving and fist pumping. We honestly could not of asked for anything better.. 

Roger will be touring Australia for the first time this January and playing at the world renowned Rainbow Serpent Festival, and many other exciting shows to be announced soon. If this is any indication as to what he has in store for us we're super excited.

Bio:

Matthias Springer is involved in the electronic music scene since the late 1990’s, always very versatile in choosing the sound he likes and plays. He feels comfotable in a lot of very different genres, from experimental electronica, to deep house and dub techno, always with the influence of acid and Detroit elements.

Matthias’ producing a very varied and unique kind of electronic music, also under using his moniker Aksutique, releasing on a lot of different labels such as Eintakt, TicTacToe, Parquet, Pantamuzik, Hypnotic Room, Plusquam and Deeptakt, just to name a few. Since 2010 he runs his own label Diametral including the sublabels DimbiDeep Music, Wohnzimmermusik, zerO413 and the vinyl only imprint Turmfalke.
