It is to be a series centred around a single long-form evolving ambient jam, growing one track at a time. 
While best known for their lavishly produced deep and dubby club productions, they are well versed at turning their hands to chill and ambient strains. Their sound is melodic and widescreen. If you use the works of GAS as a reference point, you're not a million miles away from the aesthetic of the pairing. 
Ambient, for some time, has been an increasingly vogue genre, however Klartraum are not simply turning their hand to an in demand sound. Their expansive chilled tracks have stealthily slipped into their long players - 'What Lies Within - Binaural Theta Ambient Flow' from 2018's 'Void Universes' and ' Flight To Berlin - Thalstroem Flow Mix' from 2016's 'E', for example. This experience has also spread from the studio into live performance, as evidenced by 2018's concert performance at Berlin's Passionskirche, where the duo took tracks from their catalogue and spun them into considered and expansive form appropriate for the reverential venue. 
As a series, this will evolve as an ever growing collection. Tune in and get on board with Ambient Attitude No. 1 - Attitude in g-Minor.

Welcome to the 236th Chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. A weekly released podcast that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This weeks set is created by returning artist Ambionic.

When approaching ambient mixes, I like to incorporate emotive tracks, this could be exploring deep melancholic sounds as well as more melodic and uplifting pieces. I also like to try and create some tension with darker atmospheric sections so hopefully these things come through. You will find field recordings, parts of film scores and other samples as well as my own track edits, the idea being to create a style of space, nature and cinematic moments.

The working title of this mix was 'Hope Springs Eternal', this is the mantra from my favourite film of all time, there's another clue in the track list to work out what that is...

Hope Springs Eternal

Deep Electronics Podcast # 236 - Ambionic

Hello there. Today, I'm glad to unveil a new stellar journey curated by argentinian's talent Forest On Stasys.

Previously known for his driving techno works under his Mental Resonance alias, this new project is more influenced by tribal and minimalist sounds from the nineties as by the deep and abstract electronic works.
Besides his interest for the dancefloor, he is fascinated by drone and ambient, in order to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood. 
Since early 2019, he co-founded the Danza Nativa label with @alderaan-music and @kyntral, on which he put out the first release, "A Vision Of Light".

As the title said, this mix was designed as a "mysterious night" under a sky animated by the hypnotic dance of the shooting stars. There is no stars without darkness, and the light can be found even in the deepest obscurity. I'm sure this beautiful selection will carry you into a timeless dimension.

Stellar Series Episode 36 - Forest On Stasys (Mysterious Night)

Hello there. For the 37th episode of the series, I introduce you to Koen Hoets with a deep and immersive exploration of sound. Here are his words :

« Still exploring the way I want to present my ideas for ambient music that can trigger our synesthesia sense but then In a more imaginary way. Having experienced this a few times at some interesting nights, I would really like to share my thoughts on that to listeners so they can maybe get the same experience. 

Playing with a thin line between low tempo dubby sounds and the more darker ambient lines, I want to create a tension. In some parts of the set you will emerge in deep thought while some subtle shifts of direction in sound can give a feeling of distraction which is meant to lead you to a more deeper form of listening. 

I am also preparing something special for the Moroccan festival "Under the desert stars" this summer. »

'Jeff Mills has been a hero of mine for a quarter of a century, but around 6 or 7 years ago I realized that I had lost touch with his world.  Part of the reason is his prolific nature (which makes it hard to keep up) and the other factor is that Jeff just wasn't producing "hits" like i9 or Gamma Player at this point, so if you weren't paying close attention, some of what he was doing was easy to miss. Jeff was going deeper and more conceptual, stretching his recurring themes to their limits and exploring new territory that wasn't necessarily geared toward creating dancefloor mayhem. As I caught up with the releases I had missed and started keeping up again, I was drawn in particular to his ambient and experimental efforts, which I think are somewhat overlooked because of his legendary status as a dancefloor DJ. With this in mind, I got the idea to compile a mix of my favorite tracks of his in the more abstract style. Here is the result of that idea. Enjoy, and long live Jeff Mills.'
