Welcome to the 4th Deep Electronics Podcast Showcase. This time a set from Room of Wires. This IDM / Electronic set that they made is a mixture of there own tracks and sounds but also tracks  that give them inspiration to create there music. Enjoy this 4th special set!!

Bio:
It’s not easy to find out about them, they are extremely cautious of their identities not just to the world but also to each other. RoW was formed in late 2013 after a spontaneous email, the only thing that binds them together now, is their love of uneasy music. We know the duo come from the UK, 1-Midlands and 1-South, but that’s as far as the detail goes, they don’t talk about themselves they talk only about their love of electronic music. Influences range from SPK, Test Dept, and Eyeless in Gaza to the more recent Raime, Patten and Ekoplekz.
They’re sound is hard to pin down, there’s hints of Autechre in there, but their songs just build and creep up on you, twisted yet beautiful. Melodic and mantra-like synths are weaved together with twisted beats and almost inaudible field recordings to maintain their uneasy sound. A mix of software, modular hardware, and a massive collection of home brewed samples are their tools.
With track names including Train Jacker, and Asylum Sneaker again, they display this playful but dark side. Their first video – Train Jacker, was recently created by Cesar Naves, and continues the dark, hard to fathom style…
The one thing they do both agree on is that there’s plenty more to come from Room of Wires.

I grew up with the Mills Brothers, classical and jazz, black blues, Blue Grass, Hendrix, the Beatles, The Dead, Frank Zappa, Beefheart, Yes, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Monk, Coltrane, etc. 

For a time I was a Jazz disk jockey on an actual radio station spinning vinyl and CDs. These days digging Jeff Buckley, London Grammar, Boards of Canada, Moby, FSOL, abdulla rashim, Bucky, Burial. I find myself listening almost exclusively to SoundCloud. And mostly Future Garage, Electronic and Techno.
